Noir33, 1 hour agoSo disappointed about the battery size they could staffed a 6k battery but cheap greed Samsung... moreAbsolutely.
Battery size matters more than thinness. Everyone says it yet Samsung refuses to listen.
It's 2025. The S25 battery is only 1800 mAh larger than that of the Note 3 from 2013. It needs to be more.
Just add 2 mm of thickness and it would easily fit that 6000 mAh battery!
At least, we are out of the 32 GB base memory days! Remember the S7 from 2016? 32 GB base memory. Even with MicroSD, 32 GB simply don't cut the mustard. Samsung finally realized that in 2016 and raised the base memory to 64 GB. Finally.
So disappointed about the battery size they could staffed a 6k battery but cheap greed Samsung expected dickmove as always

Phone is too big. I have a S24 Ultra that I stopped using because it was too large and uncomfortable to hold. This phone is even larger than the S24 Ultra. I love flagship phones but these phones are just too big. So it's either Apple or the Google Pixel 9 Pro for me. I went with the Pixel. I just wish that Samsung would make a flagship phone in a smaller form factor.
I don't really the S25 series selling as much as the S24 series
The S25 ultra's pen lost Bluetooth so this phone lost what made stand out in the phone market
S25 and S25+ are just copy-paste of last year with this year's snapdragon processor (that's a good move but not enough to convince people to buy these phones)
Great phone only complain i wish it had 6000mah battery. Still i will probably buy one
Only 2 mm thicker and it could easily fit a 6000 mAh battery with over 50 W charging.
Come on, Samsung.
I don't have money to buy a real camera.
Phones are cheaper and now I know which brand has the best cameras.
Vivo flagships.
Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro use normal image processing in bright places.
Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro use AI image processing in darker places and big zooms only.
I prefer normal image processing and in Pro mode, Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X200 Pro use 0 AI image processing, even in dark places, but sadly 200MP mode doesn't work in Pro mode.
Samsung Galaxy S24/ S25 Ultra uses AI image processing 24/7.
You can't turn it off, even with the minimum settings on.
It still uses post processing, no matter what.
I own Vivo X100 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Vivo X100 Ultra is a clear winner.
Vivo X200 Ultra will win again, just like Vivo X100 Ultra did.
I will buy Vivo X200 Ultra, of course.
I am talking about the main sensor and the Periscope Telephoto sensor and in high resolution mode.
I love normal image processing big pixels.
AI image processing looks like a chalkboard painting and AI image processing deletes small details like hair and knuckles.
Normal image processing doesn't delete details at all.
I know I don't own a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, but do you really think Samsung would change their camera image processing?
No, they don't.
They are all about AI!!!!
At least some brands use normal image processing still.
Sadly AI image processing and normal image processing is automatic in Vivo X100 Ultra, but I take bright 200MP photos anyway, so it's not a problem.
I take 200MP 85mm sensor landscape photos.
I love ~3X zoom for landscape photography.
Hopefully no typos.
I am done editing.
I decided to order myself one, I loved that they smoothed out the corners so if doesn't dig into your hand like it did.
Future news, Next year 2026, iPhone 17 series is expected to adopt features from Google Pixel, which is considered superior in terms of smoother technology processing, better stability, and more natural camera quality. If you’ve noticed, iPhone seems to be collaborating with Google Pixel, while Samsung is waiting for a signal from iPhone. This marks the beginning of a real sales war as iPhone competes against Huawei in China. It’s iOS versus HarmonyOS next, without Android or Google

Anyone knows how's the grip feels on this phone without case? This boxy form with flat edge all around reminds me of my iPhone 14 pro max which really uncomfortable to grip (I ended up giving that phone to my niece). I enjoy S24 Ultra grip in my hand when I tried it on the store even though it's kinda heavy. So, I would love to know how this one feels on hand without case since it's different than S24 Ultra.

If the stylus no longer has bluetooth can it still be used with a tablet? Or is bluetooth connection with a tablet not even needed?

In all that time, the only issue I have ever run into was a microphone that became intermittent, on one cell phone. And that was years ago, when I used refurbished cell phones. EDIT: I just checked and I have another update on my S24 Ultra.. Today January 25th. And it is installing right now. This has been the norm with all my unlocked Galaxy S phones over the years. One or two or more updates every month.
And I expect my S25 Ultra will be the same way.

Wasn't there supposed to be One UI 6.1.1???

Whether this year, next year, 7 years from now, all OS updates are almost the same. What's wrong with the craziest samsung community . Minimum Android 11 to get the same Playstore. Fear of trivial, meaningless anger causes the ability to think to decrease.
vega, 23 Jan 2025I think Samsung has become like Apple, no change since the s22 ultra apart from the processor :dIt's a bit of a strech saying that. Maybe you can say Samsung's phone are stuck at S23U, because this phone was a huge upgrade over S22U in the most important areas: cameras (S23U got a better wide and selfie), battery (S22U battery was horrible) and performance, which in turn was also a huge uprade over S21U and S20U.
Bad stylus options as no Bluetooth integration or air action
Disappointing charging speed compared with other mobile manufacturers even with midrange devices that exceed 100 watt
The same 5000mA battery without any improvement in its capacity
A very disappointing device. I will not buy it

a beautiful product, no doubt about it however, in my case there appears to be very little
merit in moving up from the Sansung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
What's left us completely gobsmacked was Samsungs removal of bluetooth from the S-pen.
Please dont tell us that's a good step moving forward
I reckon that alone will p*** off many loyal customers.
