The initial batch of "Metal Slug Anthology" (NTSC-U & PAL versions) has a lot of issues (missing hit flashes, no classic controller support, somehow the d-pad does nothing while using a gamecube controller...)
The NTSC-J & KOR version fix these issues.
KOREA ver. contains English games (not the menu), but it will not run on a non-korean Wii.
The game partition has been resigned through "WiiPartitionBinChanger" in order to address this issue (tested on real hardware using Wiiflow.)
What is not really known is that both NTSC-J & Korean ver. contain a hidden barebones English menu, accessed by nulling the msglist_KO/msglist_JA file.
The patch does this automatically & it also inserts the official English translation for the "interview" video (untested)
