This policy outlines the permissible use of BLAST's video content, aiming to balance the interests of BLAST, content creators, sponsors, and the broader esports audience.
Content creators are permitted to use BLAST's video content, including live streams, match recordings, highlights, and related media ("BLAST Content"), under the following conditions:
- 24-Hour Delay: Content creators may use BLAST Content after a 24-hour delay from the original broadcast time.
- Transformative Use: Creators must add significant value through commentary, analysis, critique, parody, or other creative input.
- Frag Movies and Machinimas: Utilizing in-game content to highlight and reinterpret moments from BLAST matches.
- Analysis Content: Providing in-depth breakdowns of matches, strategies, and team performances.
- Educational Content and Guides: Explaining noteworthy strategies or plays executed by professional players or teams.
- Meme Compilations: Creating humorous edits and compilations using BLAST content, done tastefully without misrepresentation.
- Non-Sponsored Use: The use of BLAST Content must not include any promotional material, such as sponsor logos, product placements, or advertisements.
Non-Transformative Content: Re-uploading, mirroring, or minimally altering BLAST Content without substantial creative input is prohibited unless 24 hours have passed since the original broadcast.
Re-streams: Re-streaming live BLAST events is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized by BLAST or following our community streaming guidelines.
Commercialization: Any commercialization of content based on BLAST's material via sponsors or partners is strictly prohibited. This includes title sponsors, sponsor logos in thumbnails, sponsor inserts or ads in videos, and sponsor links in descriptions and comments.
Right to Withdraw Permission: BLAST reserves the right to revoke permission for the use of its content at any time. Content creators must comply with any such requests promptly.
Reporting Violations: If you believe a video violates this policy, please report it to support@blast.tv.
Enforcement Actions: BLAST will review reported violations and may take actions including, but not limited to, requesting the removal of the content, issuing copyright strikes, or pursuing legal action where necessary.
