These are two characters I've come up with for my story. Nara is the matriarch of her tribe. One day an enemy tribe raids her village which causes its people to flee for safety, scattering them into the unexplored wilderness. Nara ends up lost in a remote area where she stumbles upon Kwame, a runaway slave. She's frightened since she's never seen a black person before but eventually he helps her find her way while making her laugh along the way and she ends up adopting him.

I had a very attractive art teacher in elementary school that would always help us wash our hands after working with paint or clay, etc... This pic triggered a memory within the deepest recesses of my mind. I remember she would always help us lather the soap, and get between our fingers, just like in the pic.
