Hi, My apologies if this has previously been covered in the thread.
I am renting with Hertz, and I have an Aussie drivers license.
I recently had 2 parking tickets (meter ran over) in the city of Puerto Rico. Can anyone help advise what to do?
Will Hertz pay the violations and then pass that onto me? Basically, what's the process and how can I deal with it?
Thanks in advance.
When Hertz gets the ticket, it will be time and date stamped... they then look up the records on the car to see who was driving it at that time. The CC on file will then be charge whatever Hertz is charge by the local government.

if i were in your shoes, i would go to city hall (presumably the address is on the ticket) and pay the ticket. it is likely that hertz will never find out, and you avoid late fees, and the fees that hertz will surely tack on.
unlike a traffic offense, there is probably (hopefully?) no court appearance required, they just want the money.
Hertz charges for parking fines tend to be around the US$30-40 mark, and will no doubt be added per ticket (Your rental agreement will tell you exactly how much) so the recommendation to pay the fine in advance, if possible, will save you a reasonable amount of money.

Thanks to all who replied. I went to the City Hall and explained the situation. They cancelled the tickets! It's all good.
