On January 19, 2025, a faculty member at our university was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
It is truly regrettable that a teacher who is supposed to be instructing students on compliance with the law has been arrested on such suspicion, and we offer our deepest apologies to all those involved, including students, parents, and local residents.
As soon as the facts are confirmed, we will take strict measures and provide thorough guidance to all faculty and staff at our university to prevent recurrence. In addition, we will take immediate action to ensure that students taking the classes taught by the faculty member in question are not disadvantaged.
