Favor Delivery has launched an on-demand delivery service for customers to have items from H-E-B dropped off on their doorsteps in less than an hour.
Favor Delivery has rolled out an on-demand delivery option from H-E-B called โH-E-B Now.โ
Favor Delivery and H-E-BThe delivery company, which H-E-B acquired in 2018, will ferry up to 15 items in 45 minutes or less to Favor customers who use its mobile app. Favor has dubbed the service โH-E-B Nowโ and said it is available within an 8-mile delivery radius of H-E-B stores.

Favor said it will not charge delivery or service fees on orders of more than $25 through the end of the year. It announced the service Thursday.
The companyโs standard delivery fee is $6, though it can vary depending on the location or merchant, and it charges a service fee and suggests a tip for drivers. Favor will charge $4.95 for orders less than $25 and the same fee amount after the promotion expires at the end year the year, a spokesperson said.

Thereโs also a new section on Favorโs app devoted solely to H-E-B products including produce, dairy, meat, seafood, beer, wine and household supplies โ as well as True Texas BBQ and Sushiya items.

โH-E-B Now offers a fast and convenient solution for busy individuals and families to take care of their last-minute grocery needs,โ Favor said.
The company was founded in 2013 in Austin. H-E-Bโs purchase of Favor for an undisclosed sum was a rare acquisition for the San Antonio grocer and a giant step in expanding its delivery operations. At the time, Favor was delivering items from restaurants and stores in more than 50 cities in Texas, a service area that has since swelled to more than 400 cities across the state.
H-E-B has also added curbside pickup for orders at many of its stores in an effort to offer more convenient options for shoppers.
