The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has officially closed its Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) mere days before President-elect Donald J. Trump’s inauguration. “In recent weeks, the FBI took steps to close the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), effective by December 2024,” the agency confirms.
The closure of the ODI aligns with the end of Joe Biden’s government, with President-elect Trump set to assume office on Monday. Critics of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including Trump, argue that they divert the FBI and other government bodies from their core missions. In the case of the FBI, Secret Service, and related law enforcement and security agencies, this potentially compromises national security in favor of left-wing ideology.

DEI has also been on the run in the private sector ahead of Trump’s return to power. Jack Daniel’s, Harley-Davidson, Stanley Black and Decker, and Ford are among other leading brands that have scaled back or eliminated DEI initiatives in recent months—despite Democrats lobbying corporations to maintain support for them.
The DEI agenda suffered another blow to its reputation this month with California’s outbreak of devastating wildfires. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) was found to have been funneling seven-figure sums to DEI at a time of severe budget cuts, further reinforcing the belief that state- and corporate-backed diversity often comes at the expense of effectiveness.
Britain’s far-left government has begun buckling to pressure to hold a fresh public inquiry into mainly Pakistani Muslim groominggangs responsible for raping, pimping, and killing thousands of mostly white working-class girls in England and parts of Scotland. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper—roughly equivalent to U.S. Homeland Security Secretary—has backed five local inquiries into the gangs. However, this falls well short of the national inquiry demanded by the great majority of the British public.
The inquiries will reportedly involve five local reviews with a budget of £10 million (~$12.2 million). These will focus on understanding the cultural and ethnic factors involved in child sexual exploitation gangs. Police and prosecutors have, up to now, denied any racial or religious element to the abuse and refused to charge their offenses as hate crimes. This is despite victims making it clear they were racially abused and subjected to religious diatribes, and the accused making comments such as, “white women are only good for one thing, for people like me to f**k and use as trash.”

Cooper also announced a “rapid audit of the current scale and nature of gang-based exploitation across the country,” urging police forces to revisit “cold cases.”
NOT ENOUGH.
Labour initially rejected calls for a fresh inquiry after Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch proposed a reasoned amendment to Labour’s Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill earlier this month. Badenoch had herself been prompted to take up the issue by Elon Musk, Nigel Farage, and others reviving the issue on social media, followed by the right-leaning legacy media.
It is unlikely that those pushing for robust action on grooming gangs will be satisfied with Cooper’s concessions. Many have pointed out that grooming gangs are known to have operated in at least 50 localities, not a mere five, and that the five inquiries will not have the power to compel witnesses to give evidence. This is a particular issue in the case of the grooming gangs scandal, with reams of evidence showing the authorities failed to act against abuse or even covered it up for fear of being accused of racism.
Labour also failed to address the fact that, to date, no public official has been charged with misconduct in public office for their many failures over the course of the scandal, and deportation orders against groomers have not been executed.

Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is elevating his former campaign manager and current Chief of Staff, James Uthmeier, as Florida’s next Attorney General, replacing Ashley Moody who was named to fill the state’s vacant U.S. Senate seat. During the 2024 Republican presidential primary, Uthmeier—an attorney with deep ties to Florida’s former Senator and President-elect Donald J. Trump’s Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio—was one of DeSantis’s top individual fundraisers. However, the DeSantis aide’s methods of pulling in donor cash have faced ethical scrutiny.
Investigative journalist Laura Loomer reports that Uthmeier raised $423,042 in the hours after DeSantis declared his presidential ambitions in May 2023. Uthmeier allegedly used his perch as the Florida governor’s Chief of Staff to pressure lobbyists and major donors in the state to contribute to DeSantis and the Never Back Down super PAC in exchange for having continued access to the governor’s office.

After several campaign staff shakeups during the initial months of the Republican primary, DeSantis demoted his then-campaign manager, Generra Peck, and replaced her with Uthmeier. Just 35 years old at the time, Uthmeier had no substantive campaign experience—having previously served as a senior advisor at the U.S. Department of Commerce and worked at the establishment law firm Jones Day.
As the Never Back Down super PAC fl0undered in the closing days of the Republican presidential primary, Uthmeier pushed the pro-DeSantis group to abandon its TV ad campaigns in early December 2023 and instead take on much of the Florida governor’s get-out-the-vote operation. After nearly coming in third place in Iowa just a month later, DeSantis exited the presidential primary contest, removing one of the last hurdles to President-elect Trump receiving the Republican nomination.

President-elect Donald J. Trump has announced that three screen legends will serve as his “special ambassadors” in Hollywood, acting as his “eyes and ears” and helping revive the American movie industry. “It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone to be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.
“They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!” he explained. “These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!”

Gibson, 69, who won two Oscars for Braveheart, is also a Trump supporter, popular in conservative circles for directing and producing The Passion of the Christ, and arguably the world’s most famous traditional Catholic.
Stallone, 78, is best known for his roles in Rocky and other iconic action movies, said Trump was “the second George Washington” in November. “We are in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology,” he said of Trump at an America First Policy Institute (AFPI) event.

President-elect Donald J. Trump announced on Truth Social that while his incoming administration has filled over 1,000 positions in the U.S. government, those who have worked for disloyal figures will be barred from executive branch roles. Every new White House is tasked with hiring over 4,000 political appointees, suggesting Trump’s second presidential transition is well underway.
“They are outstanding in every way, and you will see the fruits of their labor over the coming years,” Trump emphasized regarding the individuals who have received political appointments in his administration so far. However, Trump also warned: “In order to save time, money, and effort, it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (headed by Charles Koch), ‘Dumb as a Rock’ John Bolton, ‘Birdbrain’ Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, disloyal Warmongers Dick Cheney, and his Psycho daughter, Liz, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General(?) Mark Milley, James Mattis, Mark Yesper, or any of the other people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, more commonly known as TDS.”

ANTI-TRUMPERS NEED NOT APPLY.
The list posted by Trump includes a who’s who of Republicans connected to the political establishment and corporate interests, along with several prominent apparatchiks of the Deep State. Despite eventually endorsing Trump for the presidency in 2024, Nikki Haley continues to push for anti-America First policies and opposes Trump’s pick of Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
Additionally, The National Pulse has reported that Mike Pence’s political organization, Advancing American Freedom, is whipping U.S. Senators against Trump’s choice of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to head the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Former House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senator Mitt Romney have also been vocal in their criticism of Trump. Ryan announced he planned to write in a Republican name instead of voting for Trump in 2024. Romney, one of the seven GOP senators who voted to convict in Trump’s 2021 impeachment trial, confirmed he did not vote for Trump in previous elections and would not support him in 2024.
Liz Cheney, who campaigned with Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, has consistently opposed Trump. Most recently, the former Wyoming Congresswoman was accused of tampering with witnesses before they testified in front of the January 6 Select Committee.
John Bolton, another Trump detractor, publicly denounced both 2024 presidential candidates’ fitness for office, stating he would write in Iraq War architect Dick Cheney.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) announced on Thursday that he has selected Attorney General Ashley Moody to fill the Senate seat vacated by Marco Rubio, who President-elect Donald Trump has tapped to serve as Secretary of State.
“Today I am proud to announce that I am selecting our attorney general, Ashley Moody, to serve as our next U.S. senator,” DeSantis declared at an Orlando news conference, praising her service as the state’s top law enforcement officer. “I think right now appointments like these are more significant than ever. DeSantis said Trump’s “remarkable” election victory provided a “mandate for change” and urged an end to “business as usual” in Washington. He highlighted border security as a key focus, emphasizing Florida’s collaboration with the incoming administration to enforce immigration laws.
Moody, Florida’s Attorney General since 2019, was previously a commercial litigator, federal prosecutor, and the state’s youngest circuit court judge in 2007. Moody expressed her readiness to serve, saying, “I’m ready to show up and fight for this nation and fight for President Trump to deliver the America First agenda on day one.”
With this appointment, Moody will serve until the next statewide election in 2026, at which point a special election will determine who completes Rubio’s term. Rubio, a senator since 2011, is set to resign upon Trump’s inauguration next week following a smooth confirmation process for his new role.

Miranda Bryant, the far-left, United Kingdom-basedGuardiannewspaper’s Nordic correspondent, fell for a transparently absurd story about Donald Trump Jr.’s recent trip to Greenland. The backlash after Arthur Schwartz, an advisor to President-elect Donald J. Trump’s son, exposed the intended and blatant hit piece has resulted in Bryant deleting her account on X (formerly Twitter).
Late Wednesday, Schwartz posted a screenshot of a text exchange with Bryant, who had reached out to the Donald Trump Jr. advisor regarding allegations leveled by the CEO of the Hotel Hans Egede that the President-elect’s son had corralled “homeless people and drug dealers” he found on the streets of Greenland’s capital Nuuk to pose as Trump supporters. Donald Trump Jr. recently visited Greenland to push for his father’s plan to purchase the critical North American Arctic island from Denmark.

“That’s pretty wild. Did the hotel CEO provide any actual evidence that Don did that or are you just planning to run an unsubstantiated claim with no evidence to corroborate it?” Schwartz wrote in response to Bryant’s initial inquiry, with the Guardian reporter dodging and doubling down by asking if Donald Trump Jr. disputes the hotel CEO’s claim.
“You tell me. Do you think Donald Trump Jr was wandering around Greenland inviting homeless people and drug addicts to a lunch, or do you realize the suggestion sounds so beyond the pale ridiculous that you should feel stupid even asking the question?” Schwartz responded. “There were cameras following him around from the second he got there to the second he left. Did they miss him recruiting homeless people and drug addicts to his homeless person/drug addict lunch? Are you f**king retarded?” Schwartz concluded, utterly embarrassing Bryant’s feeble attempt to add a veneer of ‘journalism’ to her brazen hit piece.
On its face, the allegation—credited to Jørgen S. Bay-Kastrup—should be met with a high degree of skepticism. Notably, Greenland only has a population of around 55,000 people, while Nuuk itself only boasts a population of 19,000. While Nuuk does have an elevated amount of homeless as a percentage of the city’s population, it still only amounts to between 200 and 400 individuals. Further, as Schwartz notes in his response to Bryant, Donald Trump Jr. was surrounded by press and cameras throughout the trip. This would make sneaking out to recruit homeless individuals to pad the attendance at the event improbable, if not impossible.
Following the exchange and subsequent posting of her text messages to Schwartz, Bryant appears to have entirely deleted her social account on X.

The intense winds fueling the devastating Los Angeles fires are expected to subside, providing firefighters a better chance to combat wildfires that have raged for over a week. On Thursday, the National Weather Service declared that the “nine-day wind siege has finally ended,” forecasting a “significant cooling trend” and increased humidity through the weekend. However, they caution that high winds might return early next week. However, some of the largest fires remain largely uncontained as of publication.
Currently, the Palisades Fire, having scorched 23,700 acres, is 21 percent contained, while the Eaton Fire, which has burned 14,100 acres, stands at 45 percent containment. Despite warnings of a “particularly dangerous situation” due to winds on Wednesday, firefighters managed to keep the fires from expanding further.

The fires have claimed at least 25 lives and destroyed 12,000 structures, with damages estimated at $250 billion, marking it as the costliest fire in U.S. history. Over 80,000 individuals remain under evacuation orders, eager to return home, but officials stress patience as they continue to inspect areas and clear hazardous debris. According to the Los Angeles Times, inspections are only halfway complete, with no clear timeline for completion.
Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Captain Erik Scott emphasized the need for “realistic expectations” regarding when residents can return, as the damage assessment is still ongoing. Mayor Karen Bass, addressing the displaced, committed to streamlining the rebuilding process, stating, “If your property burned down and you want to rebuild it exactly as it was before, then you shouldn’t have to go through an elaborate, time-consuming permitting process.” She has been heavily criticized for cutting fire budgets and diverting resources to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
The California National Guard is on the ground, trying to ensure that evacuated neighborhoods remain secure amid dozens of looting arrests.

A far-left anti-Trump Washington Postcartoonist has been arrested by police in Sacramento, California, on suspicion of child pornography offenses following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCEMC). Pulitzer Prize winner Darrin Bell was arrested on Wednesday, January 15, after investigators discovered 134 videos of child sex abuse material (CSAM) on an account Bell is linked to, along with AI-generated child pornography.
The arrest marks the first time an individual has been arrested in Sacramento for possessing AI-generated CSAM since it became illegal after a law change this year.

Bell is known for his cartoons attacking President-elect Donald J. Trump and his supporters in the past, once claiming Trump “desecrated” Arlington National Cemetery. In one cartoon, he suggested Republicans, represented by elephants, were “grooming” children into “bigotry.” In another instance, a Bell cartoon likened Trump’s supporters—who are concerned about grooming—to Nazi Party members in Germany.
He is currently being held on $1 million bail and is expected to appear in court on Friday, January 17.

The case is just the latest of a far-left figure in the United States being arrested on charges relating to child abuse material or child abuse more broadly.
Former Oregon Mayor and Joe Biden donor Dennis “Denny” Doyle pleaded guilty to CSAM possession in 2022, while former Arizona Democrat state lawmaker Otoniel “Tony” Navarrete was sentenced last year for molesting a young boy.
Patrick Wojahn, a former Democrat mayor of College Park, Maryland, and friend of outgoing Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, also pleaded guilty to dozens of child abuse charges.
Wojahn received a 30-year prison sentence after an agreement with prosecutors when he admitted to 140 counts of possession and distribution of CSAM.

A major new poll conducted by Friderichs Advisory Partners and J.L. Partners highlights widespread anger among Britons over the handling of the nation’s shameful grooming gangs scandal.
Nearly eight in ten believe public servants who covered up or failed to investigate these crimes should face prosecution. Among those, 66 percent support prison sentences. The scandal is widely seen as a result of corruption and political correctness, with 46 percent identifying these as the root causes.

Trust in media coverage of the scandal is abysmally low. Only 14 percent trust the BBC “a great deal” on the issue, and newspapers fare even worse. Forty-three percent of respondents believe political correctness prevented proper media reporting, a sentiment shared across all demographics, including Labour voters and ethnic minority voters.
Nigel Farage emerges as the most positively viewed political figure in Britain, with a 32 net positivity rating, far ahead of other prominent figures. The Conservative Party’s leader, Kemi Badenoch, has a net 24 rating, behind Prime Minister Sir Keir Stamer on 25 points. Elon Musk, who injected himself into the national discourse on grooming gangs, holds just a 21-point positivity rating.
Reform UK voters, in particular, give Farage a +77 rating, solidifying his position as the leader of the UK right. In comparison, 52 percent of Britons view Elon Musk negatively, making him the most disliked figure in the poll. Reform voters also showed little sympathy for Tommy Robinson – an early anti-grooming gangs activist but controversial figure – giving him a net negative rating of -5.
A NATIONAL INQUIRY.
The demand for a national inquiry into the scandal is overwhelming, with 73 percent supporting it, including 75 percent of ethnic minority voters and 73 percent of Labour supporters. The public also prioritizes justice over concerns about societal division, with only 20 percent seeing Islamophobia or social cohesion as bigger issues than the crimes themselves.
Public trust in government has suffered significantly, with 44 percent reporting decreased confidence due to the scandal. Emotional responses to the issue—shame, distress, and anger—are particularly strong among women, older voters, and Reform supporters. The broader sentiment about the state of the country is similarly bleak, with just 12 percent feeling proud or enthusiastic.
Reform UK has an opportunity to capitalize on this discontent, as 23 percent of the respondents trust them most to handle the issue of grooming gangs, narrowly ahead of Labour (22 percent) and well above the Conservatives (16 percent). However, skepticism remains about the enforcement of justice, as only 40 percent believe foreign nationals convicted of child rape would actually face deportation, despite 81 percent supporting such measures.
This poll underscores the public’s demand for accountability and justice in addressing one of the most damning failures of Britain’s institutions. Farage’s prominence reflects a broader shift towards leaders who confront these issues head-on without apology.
The survey, carried out between January 10th and 13th, 2025, sampled 2,002 GB adults using an online panel. Quotas ensured representation across gender, age, region, education, ethnicity, 2024 general election vote, and political attention, with data weighted to national targets. The poll has a margin of error of ±2.2%.

A network of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and United Nations-affiliated groups plan on continuing to use American taxpayer dollars to aid illegal immigrants attempting to unlawfully cross the U.S. southern border despite President-elect Donald J. Trump’s pledge to tighten border controls. According to a document produced by the Regional Interagency Coordination Platform for Refugees and Migrants of Venezuela—a joint project of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the International Organization For Migration (IOM-UN Migration)—230 NGOs and 14 UN-affiliated agencies will use their 2025 funding to support continued mass migration into the United States.
The planning document calls for $1.4 billion to be budgeted for assisting an estimated 2.3 million illegal immigrants expected to surge toward the U.S. border with Mexico. Additionally, the 2025-2026 “Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan” (RMRP) details funding allocations for various services like cash assistance, food provision, and health services to support migrants on their trek through 17 Latin American nations.

Led by the UNHCR and the UN’s IOM, the initiative began in 2019 to aid Venezuelan migrants but now extends its support to a wider migrant population. In 2023, the network received $1.72 billion in funding, dropping slightly to $1.6 billion in 2024. The UN projects a total budget of $1.2 billion for 2026.
Despite the NGO network’s confidence in continuing their financial support for mass illegal immigration, the groups are increasingly coming under U.S. Congressional scrutiny. The National Pulse previously reported former Representative Matt Gaetz introduced legislation that would strip Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax-exempt status from nonprofit and non-government organizations assisting migrants who cross the U.S. border illegally. Likewise, Rep. Lance Gooden (R-TX) has voiced intent to collaborate with President-elect Trump to stop U.S. funds from enabling what he calls a threat to national sovereignty.
The National Pulse has documented the extensive network of both independent and UN-affiliatedNGOs that actively aid and abet the unlawful entry of immigrants into the U.S. using American taxpayer dollars. While the planning document acknowledges Trump’s election, it largely ignores the President-elect’s plans to change U.S. immigration policy drastically.
