Standard Versions of Sci-fi American movie called The Matrix (1999) directed by The Wachowski Brothers (brothers back then, sisters today).
Standard Version is often open matte version of a film to fit old 4:3 screen TV set. Not all 2.35 aspect ratio movies are shot with anamorphical lense like Indiana Jones, Mars Attacks... and The Matrix was shot with spherical lense which means they had to hid the squared image to "crop" it into widescreen to fit the theater's silverscreen. Strangely enough both sequels of that movie are still widely available on DVD in both format (
fullscreen or widescreen), the first movie had a widescreen presentation excluively.
So here are one 1200x900p version of an 720p AI upscaled TVrip from an Ukrainian channel called ICTV (
TV spot from their YouTube Channel) found here on Internet Archive before
it was removed.
It has been modified a little to match more the other version which is from the Thai VCD* release *Video CD obviously in SD (Standard Definition).

I own many copies of the trilogy on iTunes, DVD, VHS... widescreen,
fullscreen etc, but I couldn't find the full screen copy of the first 1999 movie except on
the US VHS.
An official fullscreen DVD from Hong Kong allegedly exist or a Thai VCD but I couldn't find them. Yet, I found a digital copy of the Thai dubbed VCD. It was in 2 parts as VCD movies are split on 2 Compact Discs (not DVDs [4.7GB] but CDs [700MB]) so I had to merge them into one and I tried to match the English Audio I had the best I could which wasn't easy because of the video bitrate's difference. It might not be perfect (specially the second half) because to my surprise it slowed down my computer so much and it took me for ever to export this file (at least 14 hours !).

All "versions" are of good quality!
Why was it taken down from YouTube?
Sometimes their copyright claims,strikes are unjust and unfair,
don't say there is a medical cure for Covid,or other diseases,
don't slander the Jews, or feature a documentary as a review if it has music playing in its background etc...
As it not only limits your ability to upload your created content to your channel, but prevent links to your info sources, and from uploading thumb nails.
They have a 3 choices options, load more content for 2 months, or verify via ID that you are the channel owner, (x2).
it's such a stupid concept, they should scrap it and leave it how it originally was - no uploading content for a week, etc!
And stop trying to get all fancier!
