Wow, this is an extraordinary, unreal performance. The interviewers seemed to be under shock, just as I was. It’s absolutely unique. I feel privileged and lucky to have witnessed this performance. Thank you Yi-Chung Huang, and bravo !!!

Insane programme!!!! Sorabji, Szymanowski and Feinberg! If I saw a poster for a concert with those names I'd think it was a joke.

Yi-Chung Huang performed phenomenally. It is very impressive to have this kind of repertoire performed to this degree in public. With that being said, anyone who thinks otherwise can stop watching this video and do something productive. It's not like most people who are criticizing him can play anywhere close to that level. Some of you seriously need to grow up and go outside. Once again, Bravo Yi-Chung Huang! Marvelous performance!

very grateful to see a top-down perspective from the camera. it's sometimes hard to parse how big chords and jumps truly are from a traditional side view and it makes it so much more impressive!

Difficulties, setbacks, dissatisfaction, and rejection encountered on the road to learning classical music, and facing exclusion, injustice, attack, and malice in life, which gave him a different understanding and perception of the spirit of the music he interpreted. Everyone should think about it carefully.

Overall, he played every pieces too fast, resulting in many mistakes, and some harmonies and textures are compromised. It's a pity since he definitely has enough skill and potential to play these better if he just chooses slow tempo. However, he is young and ambitious, and tackling such a challenging program was still an impressive achievement.

WTF. This is such an insane program. First person to ever make Sorabji sound listenable, I've not managed to listen to more than a few minutes throughout the OC till now. He has shown the capability of bringing underrecognized works into the limelight, as we are beginning to see with Reminiscences Lucrezia - only a few months ago I would never see a mention of it but now it's creeping into forum, youtube, reddit threads. Hopefully he can present things like the Ornstein sonata(s) going forward. IF YOU EVER SEE THIS PLAY THE ORNSTEIN SONATA NO 4 and possibly some of the Kapustin sonatas 2, 3, 8, 10, 11. It's also very wrong to name Sofronitsky as a favorite and not perform some of the scriabin sonatas.

The dude is like Yevgeni Kissin ... if you know what I mean. I hope one day he will return to performing listenable and enjoyable music, because even though the guy is an incredibly good pianist, this program is a serious punishment for the listener who just wants to enjoy the true beauty of music and does not want to suffer from raped scientific complexity. In my humble opinion, music is meant to make us happy by listening to music, to enjoy the beauty of music and to entertain us. Music is not meant to rape our minds and heart. Sorry for my conservative opinion, I didn't mean to offend anyone.
