It lies on the border of the Hayseed Swamps and Forbidden Jungles, seated on a river draining into the Celestial Sea. During the town’s earliest days, starvation, homelessness, and lethal danger was a part of every day life. Since then, however, Outer Hayven has grown into a thriving frontier town of about four-thousand residents mostly composing of humans, though a small number of natives are present. Even with its hardest days seemingly behind it, this rising star on the southern edge of Equestria continues to face many dangers, hardships, and threats, but also opportunities abound for those of an adventurous spirit.

Create your character (or select if you already have one) and join the fun. Quests, adventures, and new friends await your character in a vibrant and exotic setting reminiscent of antebellum New Orleans. Many areas of the Equestrian world are also explored during quests and events.

FIM has been completely and thoroughly ruined in the last few seasons. There is no sign of any improvement whatsoever for the final season and G5 is pretty much confirmed to be shit. The movie was a debacle, the following one will likely be the same.
Meanwhile, EQG has become more popular than FIM, managed to keep a steady quality level and Hasbro still has plans for it. EQG shows no sign of going down anytime soon.
I think things have become pretty clear: pony is dying (along with the fandom).
It's high time for this board to sit down and think about it. Equestia Girls has won and is set to be the only worthy thing brought forth by G4.
