Welcome to the Orthodox Ethos. I’m grateful to God that you are here in search of ways to better commune with the Truth and Light of the world, Jesus Christ, Who is All in All in His Body, the Church. I’m Fr. Peter Heers, an Orthodox priest, author and the founder and head of Uncut Mountain Press, and the creator of The Orthodox Ethos. We are a collective effort of nearly a dozen Orthodox Christians ordained and lay. Our purpose is to present and support the Orthodox truth, way and life, which is Christ Himself. All of our work - from the publications of Uncut Mountain Press, to our lectures, interviews, podcasts, and original articles on our blog are among the subject matter of our ongoing work. Our lecture series such as On Orthodox Ecclesiology, The Book of Revelation, Russia's New Martyrs and the Mystery of Christ: An Athonite Catechism are some of our most important online productions.
