Thanks for the info! I am trying to start a website and while learning about and comparing all related products I came across a plan that includes shortening options. I shorten URLs regularly in my online communications and when creating digital documents to save space, but I am having trouble wrapping my head around how it will help my new eCommerce site. How do I know if I need such a tool? What type of businesses use them and in what situations (real life examples) are they useful? Any chance you all have any videos that offer these explanations and/or demonstrations of real life applications? TIA!

So they cut out the compressed long url and give you a small url which leads to: sometimes another url where you have to check captchas that lead to other url etc. and finally the real website or link you want. Sounds like "we are doing you a favor but first jump through these hoops."

I have heard the YouTuber should shorten there video link because your rival might try to use paid disklike on there video so the paid liking website needs full link url to work is it true
