Between Nestlé Purina announcing a $195 million expansion at its manufacturing facility in the city of Jefferson in April, Aztalan Bio investing another $500 million into its Johnson Creek biorefinery and Kikkoman Corp. unveiling plans to build a $560 million facility in the city of Jefferson, the county has experienced a surge in interest from companies serving the food and beverage industries.

You can’t afford to miss out on the connections, experiences, insights, and opportunities that an intern provides. Even if they’re not paid, the value of experience and relationships you’ll gain exceeds anything monetary remuneration can offer. “ Whenever we discuss the future of agriculture, groups such as the National FFA Organization are at the center of the conversation. FFA members learn about the agriculture industry with the support of leaders, educators, industry professionals, and more while preparing for future careers.
