Just had a goon comment a racial slur on my Britt Allcroft post...
Parasites these days…
Good thing I blocked him and reported his comment.
I’ve just finished binge-watching all 71 episodes of Transformers: Robots in Disguise, or more specifically, RID ‘15.
Yeah, honestly, I don’t think it’s quite as good as its predecessor, Transformers: Prime. While yes, Prime does have a few faults, RID ‘15 seems to have a bit more shortcomings when it comes to being an actual sequel.
I mean, yeah, there is the occasional good ideas, the Starscream miniseries is decent when it comes to said character, and most of the animalistic Decepticon designs are actually interesting, especially if we take into account that Airachnid from Prime takes on the form of a spider, with her alt mode being a helicopter, of course. But what I dislike about the show is that the plot suffers from a repetitive “decepticon of the week” formula, some of the character designs are awkward, the characters never seem to develop and can come across as either boring or annoying, and whenever the characters DO actually learn something meaningful, the next episode after that reverts the status quo as if the lessons they learned never happened.
So in conclusion, it would’ve been decent if it was its own thing, but as a “sequel” to Transformers: Prime, it pales in comparison in my books.
