The world of Azura is populated by a multitude of different races, some sentient and some not. Those that are have their own cultures, morals and lifestyles.

Sapient Races

Humanoids (or sapient beings) are species which were capable of forming their own societies and cultures or possess at least a minimal level of intelligence. There is, as of now, at least 1 sentient race in every continent of Azura.

Humanoid Races

The Humanoid races typically resemble or are close to humans, most of these species can inter-mingle with one another and produce legitimate children. These species are extremely common and are found in their respective regions in Ludwag.

Beastfolk

The Beastfolk races typically resemble sapient, humanoid animals. Often considered second-rate species in cultures due to their animalistic appearance and aggressive behaviors, the beast races co-exist with the Humanoid occupants of Ludwag.

Anomalies

Anomalies are very rare, and are the gray area of species, these races aren’t seen often due to being isolationists or being turned away from civilizations, these Races are distinctly non-humanoid, and often have peculiar differences about themselves, even some of magical origin.

The Divine

The Divine are the rarest races on Azura, and are nearly all extinct, with very, VERY few still being alive on the world of Azura in the present times. Nearly everybody in Azura will go a lifetime without even hearing that these races exist, as their historic passing has been lost in the history books.

Fauna

The great collection of animals within Ludwag. Ranging from peaceful critters to ferocious beasts. Ludwag has a diverse range of animal species due to the multitude of ecosystems integrated into the biomes within the continent. Beasts or Monsters of Ludwag are much more rare and dangerous.

A handful of beasts are strictly Staff Only, and will be labeled accordingly. Note the most if not all of these creatures are NOT meant to be near or in towns or cities, you will be moderated for FRP.

Without expressed approval from a Moderator+, one cannot vacate a creature specifically delegated to a specific biome (this includes 'taming' or otherwise domesticating wild animals which would also fall into the aforementioned category). Vespii, Rissavese (not as rideable beasts, as cattle), Pisounds, Shinxes, Rarrzixi Gornaya Sobakas, Lattish Horned Shepards, Sniptails, Pine Stags (not as rideable beasts, as cattle), Olfene, and Twobacks are creatures that do not fall under this category.
