The Houston Public Library extended hours for two library locations and three research centers to accommodate the community's needs, library officials recently announced.
The Alief-David M. Henington Regional Library, Central Library, African American History Research Center, Family History Research Center and Houston History Research Center hours have been changed so the public can have more access to resources, services and programs, according to the news release.

Alief Regional Library
- Time: Monday and Thursday from noon-8 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday from 1-5 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Central Library
- Time: Monday from noon-6 p.m.; Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
