Professor Ozpin, Headmaster of Beacon Academy located in the Kingdom of Vale on the continent of Sanus on the planet Remnant, knew something was wrong. The problem was that he couldn’t tell what it was exactly.
Salem was quiet at the moment, that was both good and bad news. The good part was that it allowed the four Kingdoms to thrive and prosper peacefully, as much as life on Remnant could with Grimm everywhere. The bad was that he knew she was plotting and likely keeping her activities in the shadows. That uncertainty of her plans kept him worried in a portion of his own mind, not sure as to how she’d strike next be it instigating another war, assassinations, raising an army of her own, or simply ordering a massive surge of Grimm to attack.

It was times like this where Ruby was glad to have all this extra padding. The rotund girl had just been bowled over by the even larger Weiss and Penny in their eagerness to catch up to her. Ruby’s almost spherical belly took the impact of the fall very well, being such a large cushion against the pavement below.
