AKIRA TAKAHASHI

Meet our Artistic Director

Akira Takahashi joined JRYB as Artistic Director in 2020 and has been such an incredible asset to the company and to the Juline Foundation for Children.

Originally from Nagano, Japan, Akira began his training at Tokyo’s Tachibana Ballet School. He most recently danced professionally with the Menlowe Ballet in 2016, after dancing as a soloist with the Silicon Valley Ballet.

As our Artistic Director, Akira imparts his endless knowledge and steadfast work ethic on our company and is an absolute joy to work with.
