#MeetTheIntern Meet Matteo Gregori! Matteo was born in a small town close to Venice, Italy. He obtained a BS in Psychology at the Università di Trento and an MSc in Criminal and Forensic Psychology at the Università degli Studi di Torino. Fascinated by the social dynamics of terrorism and prompted by a strong passion for research methods, he carried out his Master’s Final Dissertation on the use of Social Network Analysis to study terrorist networks. The further development of the paper will result in a publication in Trends in Organized Crime. He also contributed to a research project focused on analyzing an Italian organized crime group structure through phone wiretaps. To complete his educational journey, he moved to the United States, where he recently graduated in Homeland Security & Criminal Justice Leadership at St. John’s University, NY. He shares knowledge on terrorism topics through data analysis and visualization for Talking About Terrorism. He also recently joined the NextGen 5.0’s team as Research Analyst, where he collaborates closely on an ambitious project aimed at investigating Jihadi terrorism perpetrators in Europe.
