Description of the software :
Mi Assistant is an online management software specially designed for Xiaomi mobile phone users. It can be controlled more easily by connecting a mobile phone to a PC or Laptop.
It's simple, and the features it offers are very varied as well. You can also back up data, etc.

1.Backup function
Click "Backup" to enter the backup guide page.
Clicking "New Backup" will prompt you to wait for the phone to authorize, and you need to perform an authorization operation on the phone.
After the phone is authorized, the PC assistant will wait for the phone to process and send basic information about the phone data. The more phone data, the longer the waiting time.
The PC assistant receives the basic information sent by the mobile phone and selects the content to be backed up.
Click "Start Backup" to start the backup process. The more data backed up, the longer it will take.

2.Recovery function
Click "Restore" to enter the recovery guide page, select the previously backed up data item, and click "Restore to phone" to restore.
Select the data to be restored.
Click "Start Recovery", the phone needs to be authorized for recovery.
Start the recovery process after the phone is authorized.

3.Flash function
You only need to use a data cable to connect your device and PC.
Turn off the device, press and hold the volume key and the power key at the same time until the screen lights up again.
Connect the mobile phone to the PC or Laptop and the Xiaomi Assistant will pop up a dialogue box to select the fastboot mode.
Click "Refresh" to enter the rewiring page, follow the prompts, the phone enters the designated mode for operation.

Upload log
Click "Feedback" in the lower right corner to pop up the feedback window, please click "Log Directory" first, copy the necessary "bugreport" files to this directory, and then click "Upload Log":

Mi Assistant FAQ

The USB cannot be connected to the assistant
1. Physical connection level: Please check whether the USB port and USB cable are good or bad.
2. Driver level: install the corresponding driver. Some of the USB3.0 (blue) computers cannot recognize and need to connect to the calculated USB2.0 (black).
3. Port occupancy level: Please close other mobile assistant related software in the computer, or software that will occupy the port.
4. Computer system level: log off, restart, change computer

Recovery exception
1. Recovery failure: It may be that some apps or files cannot be recovered due to abnormalities.
