An Oxford teacher was found dead at home, an inquest opening heard. 

Katherine Wright, of Pound Way, died on Friday, December 20. 

An inquest was opened into the 60-year-old's death by area coroner Nicholas Graham at Oxford Coroner's Court on Monday, December 23.

It is reported she was found unresponsive at her home address. 

Following a post mortem her cause of death has been given as sudden unexpected death in alcohol misuse. 

A full inquest will be held at Oxford Coroner's Court on April 28 at 10am.
