Why Early Access?

“We believe that to create an exciting and completely new game, it is very important to keep fine-tuning it based on feedback from our players.

Palworld is a monster-catching, survival and crafting game, but incorporates a variety of mechanics from other genres in order to provide a completely new experience for everyone.

In order to collect feedback on these elements and grow the game into one that everyone can enjoy, we believe that feedback from everyone in the community is necessary.

Therefore, we have decided to release Palworld into Early Access.

Please lend us your support so that we can make Palworld the best it can be.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to improve the quality of the game by making various improvements throughout early access for at least one year.

During early access, we will update the game based on the roadmap, actively adding content and improving the game systems.

Depending on the progress of development, we may consider extending early access or if we are satisfied with the state of the game, officially releasing the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to incorporate various additional elements, focusing on adding new content and balance adjustments where needed.

The addition of new monsters to further the Pal roster, new areas and dungeons to make exploration even more enjoyable, and the addition of new buildings and items that make the survival elements more pronounced and enjoyable, making the unique Palworld experience even more appealing. We are considering content to target.

We are also considering incorporating entirely new game systems based on player feedback and ideas.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core systems of the Palworld experience, such as monster catching, battles, exploration, building and crafting, are already complete.

We also have more than 100 monsters, a vast open world, over 350 items, and more than 70 types of buildings - enough content to keep you entertained even during early access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game may increase at or closer to the official release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're asking for your feedback in a variety of places, including the Steam forums, on our Twitter, Discord and other social networking sites.

We also hope that the community will be a great place for players to interact with other players who are enjoying Palworld.

We believe that Palworld is a game that the development team and the players will work together to create.

Based on discussions within the community, we plan to actively implement content and system improvements that were not planned at the beginning of development but that the players long for.

Captured Pals, made them work for me, rode some into battles, others tagged along me to assist in attacking other Pals or humans, but at the end of the day we return to base and eat and sleep like 1 big happy family.
And then the next day we do it all again until I got 100% achievements.

Joking aside, pretty fun game, played it all solo, farming materials and leveling up Pals and doing dungeons and exploring is all very nice. Can change a lot of settings including difficulty and spawns and other things that make the game easier or more tough.

Sure, some might call this game a Pokémon knockoff, but I’d say it’s more like the glow-up Pokémon never knew it needed! This game takes everything I have been wishing for and delivers it with style, filling the gaps where Pokémon’s been playing safe. Yeah, it wears its inspirations on its sleeve, but who cares? It’s got heart, charm, and most importantly—it’s fun.
P.S. ♥♥♥♥ Nintendo for the unnecessary lawsuits...

Palworld just feels right. The game is pretty and also fun to play with friends and family.

I am judging the developers for the strange lizard pal, though.

And for the fact that the summer chillet skin only works for the blue chillet and not for fire chillet

So Palworld...
IIt's a really good game. Still in development, yeah but already gives a lot of fun.
First I'd like to address elephant in the room. This is not some Pokemon clone game. This is survival game and even though you can reduce hunger, fatigue and stuff a lot, you cannot get rid of them entarly. So if you are fan of collecting creatures and battling with them but you don't like worring about food - you may not like Palworld.
Not gonna talk about graphics. They are good and pals looks nice. Not gonna talk about mechanics either. Those are like in any other survival game: you woke up, started picking up rocks and branches to craft first base point. To tell the truth if it weren't for Pals the game would be typical game from survival genre.
So why do I recomend it? Well it's simple. It's all those small things added up. Like all that exploring to level up, like all those animations pals have while doing assigned tasks, like the feeling of power when you get new gear.
Though as I said. It's still early access. There are bugs still. The game gets new stuff time to time. And yea, it may be a bit past it's glory when the game hit insane numbers but it's rly fun.

Okay, I confess. Really like the idea and concept of this game.
Feel so fresh yet familiar to other similar games I'm sure most of my gamer buddies knew and had played it.

So many fun things to do, but unfortunately so little time I have.

Bought it anyway, because afraid of it will be taken down aka delisted or got sued or even banned by ridiculous rules and regulations made by (bleep!).

I enjoy it so far. And may coming back to learn more whenever I got the time for it.

Keep those updates coming, never stop creating, let your creativity blooming.

Because similarities are just coincidences, right? Right?!
I don't really care about that. As long as the game itself give you more fun than the 'other' similar one, why not?

I absolutely love this game and have been playing it on my Steam Deck for 100+ hours.

Unfortunately, the Feybreak update somehow made the game completely unplayable as every time I tried to boot it up, I keep getting this UE-Pal error telling me that it lacks debugging symbols.

I'm extremely disappointed with this new major update because I was really looking into playing this game again.

To the devs, if you're reading this user review: please, please, please fix this Unreal Engine crash issue immediately! Once it's fixed, I'll delete this user review.
