On February 18th 2023, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Liz Truss delivered a speech at the Itoh Hall (7-3-1 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo), Hongo Campus, The University of Tokyo. The event was opened by Masakazu Sugiyama, Director of RCAST, the University of Tokyo, and moderated by Akira Igata, Project Lecturer at RCAST, the University of Tokyo. Notably, the event was organized by students, led by Haruka Nakagawa, a third-year student in the Faculty of Economics, who has extensive experience in event management.
