On a hot and sunny Wednesday, we came to Super Nintendo World. Roughly about 2.5hr wait on line for the ride. Most of it was outside in the hot sun, which drained our energy. Had to hydrate and rest after the ride before we can continue with the rest of the park.
Really wanted to dine at the Cafe as the food was in cool Mario bro style. I know, gimmick but cool. However, the cafe was full and no more waitlist at the moment, so we moved on.
Very fun, mostly geared for kids and not adults. More kids than expected as it is a school day. Really cool decors and vibe. This will be very popular for awhile. Super glad that we were able to come and enjoy it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 24, 20241 check-in
On 21 November 2024 on or around 1200ish an Employee at The Alarm Challenge by the Name Daniel by the far is the rudest employee you have employed. His demeanor is very rude and aggressive especially towards children. I have visited three Universal Studio Sites from Japan, Singapore, and to the United States and by far the rudest staff member I have ever encountered. Didn't drop my Yelp rating due to the fact I am a frequent visitor and love the brand but hope other visitors don't stand for such service and hopefully management will correct this matter.
During the Date of visit no waits or major issues beside that encounter.
Highly impressed with the leave of detail and quality of service either that from that staff member through the Super Nintendo World.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 12, 2024
We only visited this area of Universal once while we had our annual pass. It's definitely popular and can be difficult to get around with the crowds, which I think intimidated us from checking it out earlier in the year. We ended up visiting on a day when it was raining and that sort of helped with the crowd size.
They did a really great job on this land. It is so cute and you really get the feeling that you're immersed in the video game!
The line for the one ride can be pretty long. The mobile app for the park helps you determine the wait time. It's a pretty fun little ride! We did feel like the 3D glasses with the hat attached, while cute and inventive, felt honestly kind of heavy to wear--a bit cumbersome. I can only imagine what smaller kids would feel like.
Definitely something to see and experience when visiting Universal Studios!Helpful 10Thanks 3Love this 15Oh no 0 - Dec 14, 2024
I'm not big on playing video games because I just suck at them. However , this ride feels just like playing Super Mario and it's a lot of fun. I really enjoy playing and riding this ride. Will be back soon just for this ride. Would recommend it to any video game lovers.

AH! so many expectations for SNW!
i recommend the early access pass when you get your tickets $30.00 so that you can enter the park at 8 am.
you can purchase gear at the SNW store in Universal City Walk. it will honestly save you time when you are in the park in my opinion.
A little disappointing unfortunately!
SNW is actually relatively small with only one ride Mario Kart!
The park itself is very interactive; power band ($47.00) or not.
Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown by far is the best as far as games.
It does require 3 KEYS to be able to access it. So you'll have to play and go around with your band. You can tap the blocks with your band and virtually play their games. what's cool about the powerband is that you can register is on the Universal app and see you progress and coins and where your character team stands, the tops scores and stickers you collect throughout if youre in team it makes it fun and competitive.
overall this increases the level of engagement in the park.. i personally think its work it haha. were coming back again in the future for sure!
Characters come out and take pictures just makes it even more nostalgic!
Got check it out!Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 0 - Sep 2, 2024
Mamma Mia! This is my childhood dream come true!
Super Nintendo World (SNW) opened over one year ago, but the hype has not died down at all. When we purchased our tickets to Universal Studios, we added on the early access pass which was $30 per person. It allowed us to enter the park one hour early at 8:00A, before the general public entered at 9:00A. SNW is on the lower level, so you'll need to walk deep into the park and ride multiple escalators down. If you want to eat at Toadstool Cafe, scan the QR code at the entrance to SNW right as you get there.
After a quick walk through a warp tube tunnel, you'll be immersed into the Mushroom Kingdom. We headed straight to the ride, "Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge" and the wait was only 20 minutes. Without giving too much away, the game is very interactive and the visuals are amazing... you really feel like you're racing down the course.
I highly recommend purchasing a Power-Up Band to make the most of your visit since it will allow you to collect "keys" as you play the four minigames around the park. If you get in the park early, you can purchase it at the City Walk and get it all set up (connect to the app) before entering SNW. Each band is $42, so I'd say as long as you have one for your group, that is sufficient. Complete at least three of the minigames to get access to the final challenge, Bowser Jr.'s Shadow Showdown. Despite only having one band, the four of us were all able to simultaneously participate in two of the minigames and the final Showdown. Through the app, you can also collect "stamps" by completing various tasks around the park. There are no tangible prizes from the stamps, but more so just increases the level of engagement.
Every hour or so, the characters will come out for photo opportunities. Mario and Luigi come as a pair, with Princess Peach and Toad stationed independently at separate areas. While SNW is smaller than you might expect, there is so much packed into the space. A somewhat hidden staircase near Bowser Jr.'s Shadow Showdown leads to an overhead view of the land and to one more game.
Explore every corner, look up and take in all the details. Let's-a-go!Helpful 47Thanks 16Love this 52Oh no 0 - Dec 1, 20241 check-in
It was a Wow moment for me! The designs, robotics and displays are very well thought of. You actually feel like you're inside the game because everything is interactive. You do have to buy the bracelet to play the interactive games for $42 but it's worth it if you're a big fan. We ate at the Toadstool cafe (better make reservations or you may not be able to get in) . They have Mario burgers, tiramisu, spaghetti and that mushroom soup that comes in s Toad bowl, so cute. It's an enjoyable experience. Nice and colorful visuals. Plenty of things to discover

Yay! What an awesome adventure at Super Nintendo World! Go early if you want to explore Super Nintendo World and Mario Kart Bowsers Challenge as the lines can get pretty long. Come before 9 to avoid the lines and enjoy a very well made ride and have fun exploring Super Nintendo World with interactive adventures collecting coins and unlocking badges and the like. Kids of all ages will enjoy the adventure as the sounds, visuals, games, challenges, and props really add to the interactive experience.
So to breakdown how it basically works, you play mini challenges to score coins and keys of which you have to get at least 2 to challenge Bowser. Everytime you challenge Bowser, you lose 2 keys and have to do more mini games to get more. Really fun for the kids and a great way to get some sun and fun. Also, think of the challenge as a big scavenger hunt of which you have to unlock badges, characters and coins. It's worth getting the power band early so you can get in on the fun from the beginning.
Final points: We stayed at the Hilton next door and we're able to get early entry into the park which is nice since it's about a 10 minutes walk from the hotel and you can explore Super Nintendo World before the crowds get there which is nice. Each mini adventure has about a 10-15 minute wait so plan on some waiting and the Mario Kart ride has about a 50 minute wait at around 11 am. Getting there early helps you get on within 5-10 minutes. On busier days I have heard the wait can get as long as 2 hours which seems brutal.
Overall I give 5 stars and two enthusiastic thumbs up for a well made park and very well executed Mario adventure.

The architecture is amazing. The set design is really cool. Video game come to life. But there isn't a lot to do. It's rather small area

AMAZING. When you walk into Super Nintendo World (SNW) you feel like you just entered the video game!!
One downside to SNW is that you have to buy an additional wristband to get the full experience. The wristband allows you to interact with different activities in SNW. Once you complete the different challenges in SNW it gives you special coins. Collect all the coins and then you can enter another area within SNW to play an interactive game.
I spent 3-4 hours in SNW. Really enjoyed this area. Must check it out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
