What is Viagogo?

Viagogo is a reselling platform for the tickets of events and shows. It is operational in many countries, including India. It is operational in India as well and we can sell the tickets legally via this platform but they doesn’t pay or accept in INR (₹).

Is Viagogo legal in India?

Viagogo is fully legal and complaint in India. As the Viagogo itself quotes:

“Our platform is fully compliant with Indian law, as it is in all markets where we operate. We take our legal obligations seriously and cooperate fully with any relevant authority during investigations.”

Viagogo is legal because your whole revenue or income will be taxed by the Indian government. More on this later in the post.
