Inigo (Japanese: アズール Azur), also known as Laslow (Japanese: ラズワルド Lazward), is a playable character in Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. He is the son of Olivia, who traveled back from the future to aid his mother and Chrom in their war against Grima.
Fire Emblem Awakening
Role
This section has been marked as a stub. Please help improve the page by adding information.
In the paralogue A Man for Flowers, Inigo is met in an abandoned field when he is trying to save a girl from attacking Risen. Chrom and the other Shepherds arrive and help Inigo defeat the Risen. After the battle, Inigo reveals that he is Olivia's son by revealing that he has her wedding ring with him. If either Chrom or Olivia talks to Inigo during the paralogue, he is recruited as a playable unit. Inigo does not have a major role afterward.

Analysis
| This character analysis section may not be accurate to every player's experience. |
Inigo is a solid unit, mainly due to his ability to function basically no matter who his father is, as Olivia gives him everything he could want almost right out the gate. His solid bases and good growths in Strength, Skill, and Speed are all universal, so the decision for father comes down almost just to skills.
Class-wise, his default Hero is quite solid, while his extra Swordmaster or Berserker can both be great. Bow Knight is a good option as well. Inigo's base growths are good enough that he can fit into any physical class.
Robin
Robin gives Inigo up to a gargantuan 71% strength growth, but generally unless you go for a physical Robin this won't happen. Either way, Inigo getting access to every male class in the game gives him the ability to learn powerful skills like Luna, Ignis and all the Breaker skills. This also gives him a large amount of flexibility. Unfortunatly, this pairing is not optimal at all for Morgan if you are going for a magical class, due to Olivia passing on a quite terrible magic growth, potentially limiting this option.
Chrom
Chrom is probably Inigo's best father, letting him keep his high skill, speed, and strength growths, while passing on Rightful King. Chrom's class sets aren't that beneficial, but Luna is a good treat thanks to his high skill. The good thing about this pairing is that Lucina also loves Olivia as a mom, giving you two extremely potent offensive units in one pairing, one of whom can even get Galeforce. The only downside is Chrom cannot have a C-support or higher with Sumia, Sully, Maribelle, or female Robin before chapter 11 (unless they are already married to someone else), but the result is well worth it.
Frederick
Frederick is terrible, thanks to passing on worse offensive growths than Chrom, while his only notable growth is a mediocre 40% defense growth that he won't make too good of a use for. Luna is not worth this pairing, unless you made a mistake that forces this marriage.
Virion
Virion is an interesting father, passing on incredibly high skill but doesn't pass on any trigger skills. This pairing is nice for a Sol tank Inigo, due to his great skill base and 65% growth. Crit builds would also appreciate this pairing, and Virion makes a great, great father for a Bow Knight Inigo, able to pass on Bowfaire without having Inigo grind for it.
Stahl
Stahl is the best father for a Sol tank, thanks to passing on Great Knight, high skill, and a good defense growth and promo gain in Great Knight. This is an unorthodox build, but a fast Sol tank could be valuable if you have speedy player phase units already, and want to use a slightly different build for Inigo.
Vaike
Vaike is in a 3-way tie for the second-highest Skill growth, and brings an absolutely incredible 60% strength growth, turning him into a murder machine right out of the gate. Unfortunately, Vaike and Inigo's class sets overlap, and out of the few new skills he does get, Acrobat is the only one worth picking up (and Inigo himself will most likely have to grind for it, as Vaike is poor in the thief classes). Vaike's growths could make this pairing work, but the lack of good skills hampers its usefulness.
Kellam
Kellam passes on nothing of use, sadly. His speed growth drops in exchange for higher Defense, Skill, and Strength, but his speed base drops by almost 3 points compared to most other fathers. Combo this with the only useful skill worth passing on being Luna, (and maybe Acrobat), Kellam is a sub-par option.
Lon'qu
Lon'qu turns Inigo into a GBA sword unit, with an absurd 68% skill and 66% speed, with a still good enough 55% strength. Like Vaike, their classes do overlap, but Wyvern Lord as the second class is good. Not only that, but Lon'qu could potentially grab Swordfaire if you favor him, and could easily have Astra, giving Inigo multiple options for skills while staying as a Hero. Lon'qu can be argued as his best father, and is a great option.
Ricken
Ricken passes on a worse strength growth than Lon'qu, lower skill and speed, and only makes it up with a 63% luck growth. He passes on only Luna as a good skills, which Inigo will have to grind for due to Ricken's poor strength, and gives him no classes that other, better, units would give him. Ricken is Inigo's worst father by far.
Gaius
Gaius is an interesting father, passing on solid Strength and great Skill and Speed. Unfortunately, he shares his class set with Vaike, meaning Inigo gets no good skills he wouldn't already have access to, and thus is a bad option as a father.
Gregor
Gregor gives no skills Inigo wouldn't have by default, and doesn't have good enough growths to make it worth it. Potentially, this could be a good pairing, due to him gaining a high HP and skill growth partnered with an OK defense growth as a Sol tank, but not a pairing you should seek out.
Libra
Libra brings very little to the table outside of one specific build. Inigo could get Rally Luck and Magic from Libra and his class sets, Speed or Movement from his mother, and Strength and Skill from his base class set, giving him great use as a rally bot. If you aren't planning for this, Libra should be avoided due to his poor growths.
Henry
Henry also gives similar growths and skills to Inigo, but no rally skills. This means that Henry is just a slightly better Libra when not going for a rally build. Again, Vengeance is nice, and Henry also gives him Tomebreaker, but not a paring that is very useful overall.
Donnel
Donnel, obviously, passes on Aptitude, but also brings solid growths overall in other departments. The fact that Donnel only passes on Villager and Fighter doesn't actually matter nearly as much, as Donnel will only pass on Aptitude. Aptitude could be used on a different child (namely Morgan if you want to go for that), but Inigo is a good candidate for it.
Fire Emblem Fates
Role
Some time after the events of Awakening, Inigo travels to the land of Nohr alongside Owain and Severa. The three take on new names and serve under different members of the Nohrian royal family; Inigo takes on the name Laslow (Japanese: ラズワルド Lazward), and serves under Prince Xander.
Laslow is a playable character in Conquest and Revelation, and appears as an enemy in Chapters 12 and 26 in the Birthright campaign.
A Vallite Laslow appears as an enemy in Heirs of Fate End.

Trivia
- As with the other children characters of Awakening, Inigo's birthday matches the Japanese release date of a Fire Emblem series game: August 7th was the release date of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon in 2008.
- In the beginning of Paralogue 6, Inigo is seen saving a villager whom he calls "buttercup". This is likely a reference to the character Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride who similarly helps to save a princess named Buttercup through the use of his gallant swordplay.
- If Chrom is Inigo's father, Inigo will have the Mark of Naga in his right eye – opposite of his sister Lucina; he reveals this to Chrom if Chrom recruits him.[1] The mark does not appear in his critical cut-ins or confession scene, though it also does not appear in Lucina's critical cut-in.
- Inigo and Owain are the only child characters explicitly mentioned to have the Mark of Naga; it is never mentioned if Chrom and Lissa's other children have the mark or not.
- Inigo shares his English voice actor, Liam O'Brien, with Zola and Izana in Fire Emblem Fates.
- In Fire Emblem Fates, when Inigo assumes the form of Laslow, he is the only one of the trio (Selena, Odin, and Laslow) who does not have his mother's hair color.
