2020年4月。私は自宅にこもっていた。
世界は常に動いているのに、私の感受性は眠ってしまった。
私は、変化する世界をうけとりたい。変化する世界と共にいたい。
世界への入り口は、唯一の外出先である近所のマーケットだった。
「静かに生きている」食材で、私は毎朝、トーストをつくりはじめた。

April 2020. I shut myself in my room.
The world was constantly moving, but my sensitivity slept.
I wanted to feel the world, and to live with the changing.
The only door to the world was a nearby market.
With ingredients that "live quietly", I began making toast every morning.

陳列棚に並ぶ「静かな生きもの」の息づかいに、ふと足をとめる。
初めて出会ったかのように、対象をみつめる。
私は、「静かな生きもの」たちと、ひとつのかたちをつくる。
トースターの熱で、そのかたちは、隠していた姿をあらわす。
マーケットから最後の一口まで、対象と五感がたわむれる。
私は、この一枚から「静かな生きもの」と、この世界と、とけあっていく。

From the market to the last bite, my senses play with the objects.
The ingredients "live quietly" and this world and I become one trough toast.

日本生まれ、東京都在住。武蔵野美術大学卒業後、アーティスト、デザイナーとして活動。コロナ禍をきっかけにはじめた朝食習慣をインスタレーションにした「Art on Toast」など、「日常をみつめる、世界ととけあう、今を生きる」をテーマにアートに取り組んでいる。
A native of Tokyo. Working on art projects based on the theme of "observing and being one with the world, living in the moment", including "Art on Toast", which is an installation originated from a new breakfast habit since the outbreak of Covid.
