Martin O'Donnell And Michael Salvatori – Halo 3 Original Soundtrack

One Final Effort is that song you play when you are on your last hour of work on repeat to get you through the day.

As with the original Halo 1 soundtrack, this is yet another epic masterpiece. But I feel I must add that it's best listened to not on this cd, but while actually playing the game. Great soundtracks stand alone well, and this one is no exception - but for the optimal quality, you have to play the game with this soundtrack. There's just some part of it missing when you're listening to it on your Ipod - the visual component - and the game just gets a wholly more epic feel when you add this beautiful music to it.

The same applies to soundtracks of all kinds - you really have to see the movie, play the game, or watch the play to experience the music as it was meant to be heard.

I'm no Bungie employee, but do yourself a favor and get Halo 3.
