Tomnafinogue are through to the Wicklow Under-19 A Championship final, but they have picked up some battle scars on the way to the decider against Arklow Geraldines-Ballymoney.

While AGB had this weekend off, safe in the knowledge they were already through to the final, Tomanfinogue had to battle it out with An Tóchar. And what a battle it was in Roundwood. Tomanfinogue won by two points after withstanding a brilliant late An Tóchar resurgence. Speaking on behalf of the Tomnafinogue management team after the game, Anthony Cullen was nothing less than relieved to get through the pulsating contest.
