Imada Sake Brewery in Hiroshima Prefecture is the home of Fukucho.
Miho Imada, a master brewer, has been attracting attention as a leading figure in the sake world, being the only Japanese person selected for the '100 Women of the Year' by the UK's BBC.
Akitsukaze is a summer staple sake that Imada Sake Brewery and IMADEYA have developed originally.
The local area where Fukucho is produced, 'Akitatsucho,' is also a port town, famous as a fishing ground where high-quality octopus and squid, as well as oysters, are caught.
This sake embodies the gentle sea breeze and soft water quality of Akitacho.
After a while after uncorking, there is a refreshing scent reminiscent of white peach.
It has a good balance between the flavor of rice and the refreshing and pleasant bitterness.
Enshuya Fried Piri OctopusA grown-up snack made by deep-frying octopus and seasoning it with spicy chili peppers. The umami of the octopus and the kick of the chili peppers are a perfect match, making it irresistibly delicious once you start eating.
Imada Sake Brewery, which brews Akitsukaze that we are delivering this time, is also known as a land famous for seafood like octopus, and its compatibility with this octopus snack goes without saying!
