If you believe a content uploaded on Dailymotion clearly violates your right to privacy, your image rights or that the uploader is attempting to make it appear that you are the uploader of the content (i.e. personal impersonation), you can request to have such content removed from Dailymotion via this form.
Before contacting us, make sure that:
- You are personally identifiable within the content you seek to report.
- You did not give your written authorization for this use.
How does Dailymotion determine whether a person is personally identifiable?
To determine whether a person is personally identifiable, we consider the following factors:
- Dissemination of your image or your voice.
- Oral or written mention of your full name.
- Oral or written mention of your contact details (address, email address, telephone number) and/or your confidential information (e.g. financial data, health data, etc.).
Note that a pure coincidence of names (ex. a person depicted in a video happens to have the same name as you) does not, as a rule, amount to privacy violation or personal impersonation.
If you are not personally identifiable within the content or if the content reported falls under an exception (e.g. if you gave your written consent or if the content is a matter of interest for the general public in having access to the information), we will not remove the content.
