What’s also wild is how expensive domains, especially renewals, have gotten.

I’m buying .stink and .cornpop domains for projects just so I don’t get hit with a $18+ renewal on something I may or may not want to give up on. The big renewal expense usually gets me to give up on it.

The host server is still up. At least until the cert expires in Feb. I'm getting some mixed results on the domain though.

They can’t claim it. The domain is parked (automatic safety measure to prevent bots from claiming expiring domains) waiting for its owner to show up. The average parking time is usually a month. So I hope Picman sees it and recovers it before it’s too late.

I’m working on a solution that will provide both image and album, directly built in Poal (posts and comments). A simple switch in Poal config will revert back to pic8 when our resident faggot brings it back online. (Come on @Picman, it’s Christmas, not April!)
