【小烏丸】

小烏丸（こがらすまる）は、奈良時代末期から平安時代中期に、奈良県宇陀市の刀鍛冶「天国（あまくに）」によって作られたとされる初の日本刀（太刀）。

わが国最初の刀剣師といわれる「天国（あまくに）」は稲津神社前にあるこの井戸の霊水をもって数多くの名刀、神鏡を鍛えたと伝えられています。

天皇より下賜された平家一門の家宝で、現在は皇室の私有財産（御物）であり、国立文化財機構が保管している。

[Kogarasumaru]

Kogarasumaru is the first Japanese sword (tachi), said to have been made by swordsmith "Amakuni" of Uda City, Nara Prefecture, from the end of the Nara period to the middle of the Heian period.

"Amakuni", said to be the first swordsmith in Japan, is said to have forged many famous swords and sacred mirrors with the sacred water of this well in front of Inatsu Shrine.

It is a family heirloom of the Heike clan bestowed by the Emperor, and is currently the private property of the Imperial Family (Imperial Property) and is kept by the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage.
