Buses are on diversion as a road in Oxford city centre is set to remain closed for the rest of the week.

Magdalen Street East is closed today until Friday (December 6) for works in progress by Thames Water.

Bus company Stagecoach has warned passengers that all its services are diverting via nearby Beaumont Street.

Any services that terminate in Magdalen Street East will terminate at The Oxford Playhouse.

For passengers wanting to travel to Oxford Rail Station the 14, S1 or S3 services will pick passengers up at The Oxford Playhouse, said Stagecoach.
