During the Bluesky snowball fights, a teen made a Snopes account as a joke. After xhe realized some people were following it, I came up with the idea to pose as the real Snopes but only post certain stories and, eventually, start making heckin fake disinformation stories (we never reached that stage). And apparently, it caught on. I know we already had some "important" people following and reposting, but as of now even the real Snopes hasn't reached our level of traction.

You want to know the best part? I was so good at telling the other teen how to mimick the Snopes Xitter that the official account looks almost exactly the same as ours.
