Overview [ ]
Velvelt is a Normal-type Fakemon that the player can obtain as early as Route 519 , after leaving Seafin City . It sports good Attack and Speed, and decent stats everywhere else. While it initially gets minimal coverage in the form of moves like Metal Claw, Shadow Claw, and Psycho Punch (the latter two of which are available through TM), it gets reliable recovery in the form of Drain Punch, has an absurdly high number of Egg Moves it can learn, including Blaze Kick and Earthquake, and has the benefit of learning Swords Dance at a very low level, making it a solid choice to use.
