Sumo wrestlers from Tagonoura stable are coming to Izumi City!

Having just finished the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament (November 10th-24th), Tagonoura stable (whose master is Tagonoura oyakata, a native of Izumi City [active shikona: Takanotsuru]) will be holding a Izumi camp in Izumi from November 29th (Friday) to December 6th (Friday). In addition, events for elementary and junior high school students will be held on November 30th (Saturday) and December 1st (Sunday). -------------------------------------------------- Play with the sumo wrestlers! The following recreational activities will be held where you can enjoy yourself with the wrestlers from Tagonoura stable. Come and experience the greatness of the wrestlers up close, something you don't usually get to see very often! ------------------------------------------------------------------ ■Event name: Interacting with Sumo Wrestlers Square ■Date and time: Sunday, December 1st, 10:00-12:00 After the event, wrestlers will serve chanko (scheduled to end at 13:00) *Limited quantity. 1. Purpose of the project Subsidies are provided to packaged tours created by travel agencies to attract tourists from outside Izumi City, and which have a highly themed itinerary and economic impact. 2. Applicant Travel agencies registered under the Travel Agency Act 3. Application requirements The content of the travel product must meet one of the following conditions, which includes plans to participate in, tour, or visit the city's event and tourist facilities. However, sports camps and educational trips are excluded. ⑴ Travel products that use chartered buses (minibuses with 21 seats or more) owned by members of the Japan Bus Association, a public interest incorporated association, or travel products targeted at cruise ship passengers ⑵ Travel products that include staying at a hotel, inn, or guesthouse in the city for one night or more ⑶ Travel products that do not include staying overnight in the city, but eat at a restaurant in the city and use tourist facilities (※1) or local specialty sales facilities (※2) ⑷ Travel products that involve participating in an experiential tour (paid) organized by a business in the city *1 Tourist facilities: Crane Park Izumi Crane Museum, Crane Observation Center, Fumoto History Museum, Zeisho Residence, Takezoe Residence (paid) *2 Local specialty sales facilities: Izumi Station Tourist and Local Specialty Products Center "Hirarizato" or Izumi Local Specialty Products Center [Period] Please choose to use either the existing or new facility.
