Ok so I don’t know everything about the Ranboo situation right now, but from what I know so far this is getting really out of hand.

I understand that we don’t want to become known as a toxic fandom, I know Ranboo’s streams would bring in the toxic people, but I feel like we really shouldn’t be gatekeeping, because that in itself is extremely toxic.

I see posts all the time talking about how impactful Omori is, and how much it’s helped with people’s mental health and feeling understood. This game has such a positive impact, we shouldn’t aim to take that away from the people who might need to hear about it. By gatekeeping the fandom and bullying Ranboo into backing out of the game, we’re gaining much more of a toxic name than we ever would’ve gotten if we had just accepted it. For every toxic fan introduced to the game, there will be talented creators who contribute and keep our fandom alive. I personally would much rather block the malicious people than have others avoid Omori because they heard we’re a toxic fandom. Again, this game is a masterpiece that has touched the hearts of many, it’s not our place to take that away from others.

Look, I know a good number of you are from the US and things aren't amazing there either, but my country is literally on the brink of collapse. So I'd love it if we could talk about that for a minute.

To put things in perspective,

1 USD = 75.22 Indian rupees

1 euro = 90.99 Indian rupees

1 pound = 104.40 Indian rupees

Even a small amount of 5 or 7 or 10 of foreign currency will help a lot. Our government has essentially abandoned us. People have turned to social media for help. WhatsApp groups and DMs on twitter/insta is where we find help. Our helpline is a Google doc. Situation is so dire that hospitals are discharging patients due to lack of oxygen. Every night the same story, oxygen running out in hospitals, citizens running around to somehow arrange for oxygen with minutes to spare. Last night, we had manged to get oxygen to a hospital with 14min to spare.

Please, PLEASE help. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
