I understand that people have different interpretations on everyone's reaction to the truth, but I still get very disheartened that some fics don't acknowledge that Aubrey was almost in Sunny's shoes and then write her as unforgiving and hostile towards him. A part of that is because I'm a Sunburn shipper, I'll admit, but what happened at the lake with Basil and Sunny is still a pretty important lesson that what happened to Mari could've happened to anyone.
