Featured on Nov 23, 2024 at 8:13 PM: Bluesky watches us watch them, while LFJ is trying to ride the app's rising popularity to make it his new personal army.
Bluesky Banner.png
Bluesky Logo.pngBluesky is a decentralized, open source social media app that is similar to 𝕏 / Twitter. In fact, Bluesky was originally created in 2019 by former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to be an initiative into researching the possibility of decentralizing Twitter. However, Jack Dorsey stepped down as Twitter CEO in 2021 and Elon Musk acquired Twitter in 2022, which resulted in the Bluesky initiative being severed from Twitter and evolving into a separate standalone app instead. When Elon Musk took control of Twitter, rebranded it to 𝕏, and worked to overhaul the platform's censorship and biased moderation, many leftists, politicians, celebrities, influencers, trannies, lolcows and other Twitter users who believed Musk had "ruined" Twitter, decided to flock to Bluesky, hoping that it would grow and overtake Musk's 𝕏. Other unsavory groups such as pedophiles, zoophiles, zoosadists, lolicon and shotacon enjoyers would also migrate from Twitter to Bluesky. As Bluesky's userbase pretty much consists of all the leftists and smug trannies that left Twitter due to Musk's alteration of Twitter's moderation policies, the Bluesky app has ended up becoming an even bigger echo chamber and hugbox with even stricter moderation to crush dissent.
Bluesky is literally the worst and most censorious platform to ever exist.

Bluesky Logo.pngBluesky App.pngBluesky Logo.png
Functionally, Bluesky is very similar to Twitter, although more bare-bones. In addition to missing several features of Twitter, the app's performance is also noticeably more sluggish. There were times when the app's performance would chug and lag, likely due to it not being built to properly accommodate the userbase, which was larger than anticipated.

Bluesky Logo.pngSkeets
Posts on Bluesky are referred to as "Skeets" (likely a portmanteau of sky and Tweet), which is meant to parallel Twitter's name for posts, Tweets. Building off of this term, the act of posting on Bluesky can be referred to as "Skeeting", akin to how the act of posting on Twitter is called "Tweeting". Amusingly, while likely not the intention of the creators, the term "skeet" is already an existing term that means to cum or ejaculate, whose meaning was completely lost to them:
Skeet Definition.png
Now then, given the fact that most Bluesky users are tranny coomers, using the term "skeets" doesn't seem to be much of an issue, despite how retarded it looks. It also seems to be something that has developed naturally within the community as a result of "decentralized naming decisions". Not everyone at Bluesky is happy with the term, as Bluesky CEO Lantian "Jay" Graber has begged Bluesky users to not let "skeets" stick, suggesting the term "skoots" instead:
Stop Saying Skeet.png

Bluesky Logo.pngInvite Codes
Invite Code.jpgBluesky Beta Logo.jpg
When Bluesky was first launched in February 2023, it was an invite-only beta that required an invite code to register. Several prominent influencers and celebrities, including Breadtuber Twitch streamers were given referral codes to share with their audience. As a result, these codes were kept within these leftist spheres and resulted in Bluesky becoming a pro-tranny leftist hugbox. In October 2022, a waitlist for an invite code was launched, but it could take months to obtain a code, making getting a code that was given out by an influencer or exising user (who could also share a certain amount of codes per month) the preferable method of getting into Bluesky. Despite this, during this invite only period, some outsiders, including Kiwi Farms users, were able to obtain referral codes in order to access the platform. Another reason that people were hesitant to give out their codes is Bluesky's moderation would punish users for offenses committed by people they invited, as the system would keep who was invited by who. On February 6th, 2024, the app would open up to the public, eliminating the need for the invite codes. Keep this system in mind for later, as it would have a major impact on how the culture and moderation of the app were shaped.

While Bluesky is now public, accounts still have the option to be made private and require a sign-in with a Bluesky account in order to view them:
Sign-in Required.png
With this in mind, if you plan on following and observing certain accounts on Bluesky, you may want to have a lurker account handy.

Bluesky Logo.pngAT Protocol
AT Protocol.png
Bluesky would also create the AT Protocol (Authenticated Transfer Protocol), also known as ATProto, which is an open standard for decentralized social networking services. The AT Protocol powers the Bluesky social network and aims to create a decentralized, interoperable, and scalable online ecosystem where users can retain, manage, and customize a single federated online identity across various online platforms and services. Developers are able to use it to develop their own social media applications.

However, despite being "open source", if you want to run your own Personal Data Sever, to join the network you'll need to join Bluesky's AT Protocol PDS Admins Discord server:
Self-Hosting PDS.png
So much for self hosting and interoperability.

Bluesky Logo.pngFunding, Management and Site Engagement
Bluesky mainly makes money from investors funding it. Bluesky does not intend on making money through traditional advertising, like on Twitter, although it may introduce premium subscription features:

Although he was the one behind the original initiative, Jack Dorsey would end up leaving the Bluesky board on May 5th, 2024:
Jack Leaves.png

Despite the constant claim from Bluesky users that Twitter is "dying" due to Elon Musk's management, Twitter consistently pulls in millions more visits than Bluesky:
Visit Numbers.png

Bluesky Logo.pngTwitter 𝕏odus / Twitter Derangement Syndrome
A large chunk of Bluesky users are former Twitter users who migrated to Bluesky due to disliking Elon Musk and his takeover of Twitter and how it is now a far right Nazi hate platform, a phenomenon that has been dubbed the "Twitter 𝕏odus". This results in a huge amount of posts on Bluesky being nothing more than whining about how much better Bluesky is than Twitter, or how Twitter will soon die and Bluesky will reign supreme. The following posts are examples of this:
Leaving Twitter 1.pngLeaving Twitter 2.pngLeaving Twitter 3.pngLeaving Twitter 4.png
Leaving Twitter 5.pngLeaving Twitter 6.pngLeaving Twitter 7.pngLeaving Twitter 8.pngLeaving Twitter 9.pngLeaving Twitter 10.png

Alongside constant posts about how Twitter has gone to shit and everyone is leaving it, Bluesky users like to also huff their own farts and boast about how they have the best social media platform in existence and remind you constantly how much better Bluesky is than Twitter:
Bluesky Delusion 1.pngBluesky Delusion 2.pngBluesky Delusion 3.pngBluesky Delusion 4.png
The invite-only code system is likely a reason behind this sense of superiority and entitlement, as Bluesky users seem to believe they're a part of some exclusive club that Nazi Twitter chuds aren't invited to. So many posts on Bluesky are related to how bad Twitter is or how everyone is leaving, to the point that one could say that the majority of Bluesky is suffering from Twitter Derangement Syndrome. Another thing to consider is how many of these people taking part in the great "Twitter 𝕏odus" proclaim they are leaving Twitter for good, only to return shortly afterwards because they're not getting the engagement they want out of Bluesky's hugbox.

Bluesky Logo.pngModeration on BlueskyBluesky Logo.png

The moderation on Bluesky is like pre-Musk Twitter amplified tenfold, allowing for no dissent against leftist tranny dogma which often results in banning and shadowbanning. Rather than having a dedicated moderation team, a lot of Bluesky moderation is either automated and based on reporting with practically no appeal process or relies on community policing instead. As the community is already an extremely insulated hugbox full of censorious troons, this often causes purity spirals, petty drama and in-fighting as these power-hungry trannies turn on their own and devour each other.

The first set of rules appear to be the standard "do not break the law" rules:
Rules 1.png
The second set of rules are related to "treating others with respect". These are basically the hate speech rules that Elon Musk did away with on Twitter where if you misgender a troon on Bluesky you'll be banned:
Rules 2.png
Developers using Bluesky's AT Protocol are allowed to establish their own community guidelines:
Rules 3.png
Bluesky's reporting guidelines, which basically encourage snitching on people to the moderation team:
Reporting.png
Bluesky even has guidelines for how to label content, likely to ensure you don't trigger trannies:
Labeler Guidelines.png

This raises the question of why is Bluesky's moderation the way it is? Well, remember the invite-only system when the app was still in beta?
First 10K.jpeg
The first 10,000 users on Bluesky were a bunch of a insufferable trannies. As they were the main people that were given invite codes and distributing them, these original 10,000 troons ensured that only other troons, chasers and enablers would be invited by gatekeeping who got invite codes. The app being invite-only also gave these original users a massive sense of entitlement and superiority, as if they were apart of an exclusive account that those simpleton chud Nazi peons over on Twitter weren't allowed in.

As a consequence of this, the core userbase of Bluesky is a bunch of entitled, totalitarian trannies that are quick to report anything that mildly bothers them while simultaneously believing they are above all rules simply because they're trannies which has resulted in the app becoming a massive tranny hugbox echo chamber. Of course, this type of behavior from a tranny isn't surprising, but the issue is more that Bluesky in particular enables this behavior far more than other platforms. The core userbase is so toxic and unwelcoming that 6% of new accounts end up deleting their accounts because they can't fucking stand how insufferable the power-hungry trannies are and are unable to gain traction or go against the app's culture. Blocking is widely used on the platform, with 42.53% of users blocking someone, while 48.4% of users have been blocked by at least one other account. Such an open and welcoming community!
Deleted Accounts.jpeg
It should also be noted that despite claims about how nice the community is for all the "like-minded" people within it, Bluesky's users are so intolerant of one another that they are reporting each other to Bluesky Kommissars at a rate of 3000 reports per hour:
Bluesky 3000 Reports.png

There is also a clear bias in Bluesky's moderation that is heavily skewed in favor of leftist trannies. For example, here are some TERF posts that were flagged for "Intolerance":
Flagged Content Example 1.pngFlagged Content Example 2.png
While these posts from trannies inciting violence are totally fine:
Above the Rules 1.pngAbove the Rules 2.png

Bluesky Logo.pngAnti-Toxicity Features
In order to combat "toxicity", which Bluesky defines as "harassment, dunking, etc", new "Anti-Toxicity Features" have been introduced to the app to make it an even bigger tranny hugbox. The following are some of the new Anti-Toxicity Features that Bluesky has implemented:
Anti Toxicity 1.pngAnti Toxicity 2.pngAnti Toxicity 3.pngAnti Toxicity 4.pngAnti Toxicity 5.png

Bluesky Logo.pngBluesky Moderation Service
The following are all of Bluesky's official moderation options that users can set to their liking:
Bluesky Moderation.jpeg
Link
Yes, that's right, there's an option to have a warning for "rude" posts. The jokes write themselves:
Rude Setting.png

Bluesky Logo.pngTrust and Safety
Trust and Safety refers to Bluesky's efforts to make the app a "safe" and "enjoyable" experience for users. What this actually means is a bunch of gay rules meant to suck up to trannies. The following are some of Bluesky's retarded Trust and Safety efforts:
Trust and Safety 1.pngTrust and Safety 2.pngTrust and Safety 3.pngTrust and Safety 4.pngTrust and Safety 5.pngTrust and Safety 6.png

Bluesky Logo.pngStarter Packs
Starter Packs are curated lists of users. While Starter Packs are mainly used to help find users with similar interests and follow all of them with a single click, users also have the option to block every user in a Starter Pack list, making it function as another moderation tool. One notable example of a Starter Pack is Bluesky's Sensitivity Consultants Starter Pack, which is essentially just a bunch of trannies larping as Bluesky jannies that you can follow to help keep you "safe". They don't have any real moderation power, they just mass report posts they don't like:
Bluesky Sensitivity Consultants.png
Link (Archive)

Bluesky Logo.pngBlock Lists
Another tool that Bluesky has in order to make blocking accounts easier is the ability to create curated block or moderation lists that can be shared to the community. Users can subscribe to these lists to have all accounts within them either blocked or muted all at once. The following are some examples of Bluesky block lists:
Block Lists 1.jpgBlock Lists 2.jpgBlock Lists 3.jpgBlock Lists 4.jpgBlock Lists 5.jpgBlock Lists 6.jpgBlock Lists 7.pngBlock Lists 8.png
There is even a dedicated Kiwi Farms blocklist that was created by Liz Fong-Jones as part of his #EndHarrassment campaign:
Kiwi Farms Blocklist.png

Kiwi Logo.pngKiwi Farms Paranoia / Kiwi Farms Derangement SyndromeBluesky Logo Kiwi Green.png
Liz Fong-Jones's Kiwi Farms blocklist is the result of Bluesky users developing a paranoid belief that they are being infiltrated and stalked by Kiwi Farms trolls, which can be called Kiwi Farms Paranoia or Kiwi Farms Derangement Syndrome. These users freak out at any account that has a slight affiliation with the forum and express their concern and worry about what will happen to them if the Farms is allowed to continue existing. They also read this thread and claim that Kiwis observing their behavior and laughing at them is actually targeted trolling ops against them. The following are some posts which are an example of this:
Kiwi Paranoia 1.jpgKiwi Paranoia 2.jpgKiwi Paranoia 3.pngKiwi Paranoia 4.pngKiwi Paranoia 5.pngKiwi Paranoia 6.webpKiwi Paranoia 7.pngKiwi Paranoia 7.jpegKiwi Paranoia 8.jpegKiwi Paranoia 9.pngKiwi Paranoia 10.png
Bluesky's Kiwi Farms paranoia has even produced some Kiwi Farms fan art:

Bluesky Logo Kiwi Green.pngConsent Accident
One of the most notorious things that Liz Fong-Jones is known for is his self-admitted act of rape, which he refers to as a "consent accident" in an attempt to downplay and brush it off. Liz would describe his consent accident on Twitter, which was archived before he deleted the it.
Consent Accident Tweet 1.pngConsent Accident Tweet 2.png
(Archive)
Due to Liz's high standing and influence at Bluesky, the term "consent accident" has become completely verboten. One of the quickest ways to get banned on Bluesky is to either post the term "consent accident" or post the archive of Liz's consent accident Tweets. The following is an example of an account that got banned after about a day for merely making a single post mentioning the consent accident:
Consent Accident Test Post.JPG

Aegis
Aegis is a controversial opt-in blocklist/moderation service for Bluesky that was created by Laurelai Bailey, a notorious troon rapist that's widely hated by other trannies. Aegis is another example that highlights the issues with Bluesky's community policing. For those who opted into Aegis, it would label accounts and tag posts that it deemed problematic. The following are some examples of how Aegis tags and labels looked and worked:
Aegis Example 1.pngAegis Example 2.pngAegis Example 3.png
If Aegis was criticized, a user would be labelled as a troll, and then they would be automatically blocked, cutting them off from a large portion of the community.

These issues with the Aegis service, combined with the controversy surrounding Laurelai Bailey would result in Aegis shutting down on June 22, 2024:

As a result of Aegis and Laurelai Bailey's existing reputation as a power-hungry tranny rapist known for making countless alt accounts and spending all his time trying to worm his way into positions of power in various troon social media communities, Laurelai has become something of a boogeyman on Bluesky. Many Bluesky trannies have become paranoid and even accuse each other of being Laurelai socks. The following are some examples of Bluesky posts related to Laurelai Bailey and Aegis:
Laurelai Post 1.pngLaurelai Post 2.pngLaurelai Post 3.pngLaurelai Post 4.pngLaurelai Post 5.pngLaurelai Post 6.pngLaurelai Post 7.pngLaurelai Post 8.png

Bluesky Logo.pngBluesky 2024 Election MeltdownBluesky Logo.png

Following Donald Trump's resounding victory over Kamala Harris in the 2024 US Presidential Election, the users of Bluesky would have a massive meltdown with tons of coping, seething and malding. The following is several examples from the Bluesky 2024 Election Meltdown:
Election Meltdown 1.pngElection Meltdown 2.pngElection Meltdown 3.pngElection Meltdown 4.pngElection Meltdown 5.pngElection Meltdown 6.pngElection Meltdown 7.pngElection Meltdown 8.pngElection Meltdown 9.pngElection Meltdown 10.jpgElection Meltdown 11.pngElection Meltdown 12.pngElection Meltdown 13.pngElection Meltdown 14.pngElection Meltdown 15.pngElection Meltdown 16.png

Bluesky Logo.pngMAPskyBluesky Logo.png

MAPs or "minor attracted persons" are a group made up of people who think being attracted to children is a totally normal thing and campaign for attraction to children to be accepted. They like to style themselves as "virtuous pedophiles". Several MAPs have migrated to Bluesky, proudly announcing their status as well. The following are some examples of MAP posts on Bluesky:
MAP Skeet 1.jpgMAP Skeet 2.jpgMAP Skeet 3.jpgMAP Skeet 4.jpgMAP Skeet 5.jpgMAP Skeet 6.jpgMAP Skeet 7.jpgMAP Skeet 8.jpgMAP Skeet 9.jpgMAP Skeet 10.pngMAP Skeet 11.pngMAP Skeet 12.pngMAP Skeet 13.png
Needless to say, the woodchipper can't come soon enough.

Bluesky Logo.pngZoosky ζBluesky Logo.png

Zoophiles are disgusting individuals who want to have sex with animals and believe that animals can consent to sex with humans. They will often identify themselves on social media with the Greek letter Zeta (ζ) beside their name or in their bio. Several zoophiles migrated from Twitter to Bluesky, and have even dubbed their own internal Bluesky Community as "Zoosky". The following are some examples of zoophile posts on Bluesky:
Zoophile Skeet 1.jpegZoophile Skeet 2.pngZoophile Skeet 3.pngZoophile Skeet 4.pngZoophile Skeet 5.pngZoophile Skeet 6.pngZoophile Skeet 7.pngZoophile Skeet 8.pngZoophile Skeet 9.pngZoophile Skeet 10.pngZoophile Skeet 11.pngZoophile Skeet 12.png

Bluesky Logo.pngBluesky DIY HRTBluesky Logo.png

From the recent shut downs of several DIY HRT vendors to Donald Trump winning the 2024 US Presidential Election, alongside the looming threat of Project 2025, the future for many troons is looking rather grim. While they will likely get kicked off of places like Twitter or Reddit, DIY HRT vendors have been establishing themselves on Bluesky, which is far more welcoming to them.

Sharty Logo.pngSoyjak.Party Raids BlueskyBluesky Logo.png

Soyjak.Party / The Sharty is an imageboard site comprised of former /qa/ users that enjoy raiding other sites. On September 4th, 2024, the /soy/ board on Soyjak.Party would create a thread in order to raid Bluesky:
Sharty Bluesky Raid Thread.png
Link (Archive)

The Sharty raid would not only illustrate how dead Bluesky was, but it would also expose how terrible the app's security was. It was discovered that Bluesky accounts could be created without any email verification:
Shit Security.png
This oversight likely stems from the platform's time as invite-only, as the userbase and developers likely believed that the invite codes would prevent any future raid, although when Bluesky finally went public, they appeared to have forgot about this being a potential issue. The lack of email verification made it very easy for Soyjak.Party to raid and spam Bluesky once it went public.

From there, a small guide was posted on how to raid Bluesky:
Sharty How to Spam Bluesky Guide.png
Memes about Bluesky users were also made:
Bluesky Immigrant Meme.png

The raid managed to make #HWABAG one of the top 10 trending hastags on Bluesky for a time:
HWABAG Trending.png
The lack of anti-botting measures on Bluesky also allowed Sharty members to easily raid with bots and spam, including hijacking hashtags.

Soyjak.Party was even able to dox the CEO of Bluesky, Jay Graber during their raid:
Bluesky CEO Dox 1.pngBluesky CEO Dox 2.png

Naturally, the raid was able to extract a massive amount of salt and caused all the commie pedo troons on Bluesky to cope, seethe and dilate. As Bluesky relied more on reporting and community policing instead of having dedicated mods and proper anti-spam/anti-bot security measures, the raided Bluesky users were only able to report the incoming Sharty invaders and impotently whine about it in posts:
Some Guy Named Cobson.png

Some examples of Bluesky users malding about the raid:

One Bluesky user even decided to out himself as a snitch that was keeping tabs on the raid thread to report newly created accounts:

Only for him to be doxed on the Sharty shortly afterwards:

Bluesky Logo.pngLolcows on BlueskyBluesky Logo.png

There are numerous lolcows that have migrated from Twitter to Bluesky. Many of these cows will claim that they have "quit Twitter for good" and will mainly use Bluesky instead. However, due to being attention whores that require dopamine, with Bluesky being an echo chamber hugbox full of people who only agree with them, these cows will often return to Twitter within days of claiming they were leaving for good in order to farm drama and content by getting into arguments. The following is a list of some prominent lolcows that use Bluesky:

Finally.

Does anyone else think that Bluesky will fall to be just another failed copycat platform like Threads? I went to just glance at the site and it's nothing but left-wing malding at either Elon Musk or just the right-wing party in general. And that's all Bluesky is made for, just for leftists to scream and cry in a hugbox. The mystique and shimmer of the next big "gotcha" social media site will rust, and it's doomed to fail sooner than later.

I mentioned this in the OP, but I've noticed that basically every cow that says "I'm going to move to Bluesky to escape the Nazi chuds" always ends up coming back to Twitter a week later. I think the reason is these people are drama whores and love engagement and arguing, such as Lucas's love of the "ratio", but since Bluescat is a leftist tranny hugbox with strict moderation, there's none of that excitement there and it's boring.

So the 5-10% of psychopathic radicals left and went to an even more isolated echo chamber? Yea, I'm sure that's gunna be a successful business. They totally aren't going to need the other 90% of users who just had to put up with their shit before.

The reason this will fail epically is because the majority of people who want to be on a Xitter type platform are already on Xitter and they're not going to jump to this new platform that has no appeal outside of being a place for leftists.

I was wondering if something was gonna make a bluesky thread. Here's some things I would add to the OP.
- Bring up how, despite faggots claims twitter is dying, Bluesky is unable to even reach the number of visits that xitter gets
microblog visits.png
- Bring up how fucking gay their rules are
No toxack people ples.png
- See if you can find anything related to how they're making money, since the website is ad free

- See if you can include more lolcows onto the list like Bowblax and AniMat

- See if they're anything notable relating to their staff/jannies

Other then that this is the start of a good thread.

I think I saw the recent Bluesky Election Cope thread and noticed there wasn't a Community Watch thread for Bluesky, which I found surprising. I figured I'd make one. As for your suggestions, I think they're good and will work on getting them added in.

Alright, time to share some material with the class. I've been looking into a particular Roblox off shoot community for a while now on and off because of how absolutely insane the people within it are. One person in particular that people from within this game have been talking to me about is a retard I mentioned in passing in a past post about another person from this exact same community. It turns he's way more insane than I anticipated, and he also has a Bluesky account. Some of his posts, particularly his politisperg posts are borderline schizophrenic.

(Some accounts have it set so you have to be logged in to view posts from users, archival isn't possible for these accounts until a work around is found. Believe me, I tried.)

Nice thread!

Btw, please add Clearsky to the relevant links section: https://clearsky.app/
You can use it to view someone's username changes, their (searchable!) post history, the "lists" they're subscribed to, who they're blocking, and who is blocking them.
All great for drama & lolcow investigation purposes. :)

For lolcows:
  • Liz Fong-Jones just recently started using Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/lizthegrey.com
    • Very prolifically too! He's coordinating with a bunch of other lolcows & tech troons to #RESIST the Orange Man's upcoming trans genocide and mass deportations of undesirables.
  • Bardfinn (aka "Penny Oaken") is another troon leader of the #resistance: https://bsky.app/profile/skywitches.net
    • Even if you don't find LFJ or Bardfinn interesting, you can check the people they're following or socializing with for a veritable treasure trove of lunatics.
Oh, and something else I'm keeping an eye on... big names from the DIY HRT scene have been establishing a presence on Bluesky recently. They're probably worried about being kicked off of Twitter and Reddit.
https://bsky.app/profile/diyhrtdotmarket.bsky.social
https://bsky.app/profile/teahrt.bsky.social
In particular, I'm looking forward to TeaHRT shipping out HRT homebrewing kits in January. I suspect it will be a disaster no matter how much they try to idiot-proof the kits.
