Truthfully, this is just for fun. It's a small reimagining of the ending of the Dexter's Laboratory episode "A Hard Day's Day" where Dee Dee shows up too early and gets caught in the blast, too. Time and coincidence often work to make gags work just the way they need to, because if Dee Dee were to show up even a little earlier, she'd be just as much in trouble as her brother. Besides, it's important to normalize this kind of gag happening to girls, too.
