Does the current progress of adapting comics seem to be in the middle of the novel? (Oct 8,
2023. latest comic chapter 29)

I can only see the translated versions of novels from the ch1 to the ch23, so this is what I see the progress in correspondence between novels and comics.

novel ch1-ch3 = comic ch1-ch2 :Ray and Hayes enter to the manor , met Clodan.

novel ch3-ch5 = comic ch2 : Hayes complained about the manor people, but negotiated business with the Clodan. Ray received a warning from Della. Clodan invited Ray to visit the third floor.

novel ch6-ch11 = comic ch3-ch7 : Clodan shared book and flirt with Ray. Hayes taunts the Ray and embarrasses her.Mary take care of Ray, reminded her not to leave the room on the designated day. Ray retruned the book to Clodan, yet Clodan flirt with Ray again. Ray asked Clodan read the book with her. Hayes found out that the manor was cursed and Clodan coveted Ray.

novel ch11-ch18 = comic ch8-ch10 : Hayes tried to escape with Ray but ultimately abandoning her, Clodan and Ray had sex for the first time.

novel 19 - 23 = comic ch10-ch14 : Clodan punished Mary for excessive interference. Ray's friendly attitude made the gardener decide to plant blue roses in return for her. Clodan gave Ray a handmade amethyst anklet as a gift. Ray's Nightmare Event (Clodan fondling her chest)。

Seens that Clodan's process of growing up (childhood, youth, learning magic from the last wizard, killing the teacher and being cursed, leaving a curse on the manor) is mentioned in advance in the comic version' ch12-ch13.

Here are some of my thoughts after seeing the spoilers discussed here (including novels and comics) and reading comics (as of ch29). I won’t go into details about what someone mentioned before. There are also some problems in the process (after all, I can only see the online translation version ch1 to ch23 of the complete novel), which I would like to discuss with:

(1 ). The side effects of Clodan’s curse will become more serious during the full moon period and the curse intensifies. Only a few survivors of the cursed servants can live longer lives, but for some reason, only Della among the surviving servants can enter and leave the manor freely.

(2). Continuing from (1), due to the above reasons, in comic chapter 29, while Mary mocked and accused Hayes, she was also very angry that she could not be with her husband and children because of the curse, and had to stay in the manor. This indirectly reveals why when Ray and Mary discussed the closed bakery, Mary's knowledge of the outside world was still at the time when the bakery was still open.

(3)If the curse is lifted, does this mean losing immortality as well?

Does she break the curse?

Yeah, but basically frozen in time and place… even vampires get experience by going out, so they mentally age, this dude is basically with the same people all his life, time doesn’t pass for him.

 

Anyone know where we can read the full novel? I can only find it up to chapter 23, and some of those sites haven't changed since 2020 it says

 

So the last chapter of this season is on chapter 45 where Clodan build a separate mansion for Ray and planned to locked her inside of it, not even Mary can enter the place and then he gave suspicious liquid to Ray and she fainted because of it. My question is, does Ray really ingested that potion? Does that mean she has become cursed too? Or the liquid needs to be taken a few times for someone to fully change as a monster? How did she know that Clodan was trying to change her into a monster?

 

What is the weird looking liquid he made her drink? Is it the mentioned blood that will turn her into a monster like him?
