Out of all the portrayals of Sunny's mom that exist, the portrayal that Schrift made of her being someone who, tries to help Sunny out of the house, even learning from a failed attempt while being just a little bit impatient while understanding while also taking zero shits from anybody, leading to what was probably a murder of Aubrey's mom was not one of those portrayals I was expecting to see...
