I want to publicly apologize for my contribution to cancel culture and for personally going after Kathleen Stock’s academic reputation back when I was a trans activist. That was wrong of me and I regret that and take accountability for the harm I caused to her career. But I have

A cat is anything that identifies as one A black person is anyone who identifies as one A native American is anyone who identifies as one An old person is anyone who identifies as one Why is it so easy to recognize the absurdity of these statements but not for “woman”?

Digital illustration featuring a large group of women of all different races, ages, sexualities, abilities and gender expressions. There’s text that reads, ‘a woman is anyone who identifies as one.’
In a talk for her upcoming book, “Who’s Afraid of Gender” Judith Butler says the sexual dimorphism of male vs female is an “observational imposition” of Christian colonialism. This idea is the root rot of postmodern trans ideology, which actually believes the objective truth of

Trans identified male thinks people who clock them as male must be “blind or dumb” but forgot that people are not deaf. And once the unconscious mind detects maleness, it requires conscious suppression of evolutionary instincts to politely pretend they are not male.

Activists always say penile inversion has a lower regret rate compared to knee surgery. The disanalogy, however, is that when knee surgery patients are filling out a survey they’re not concerned about how this data might “look bad” for the knee surgery patient “community.”

One of the most psychologically healing aspects of my detransition has been realizing how much mental energy I wasted living in a perpetual state of victimization and neurotic self-consciousness about people perceiving the obvious fact I was male.

I was a true cult believer. If someone had surveyed me on regret and detransition right after this tattoo, I would have insisted I would never ever change my mind. Detransition cannot be measured in 1-2 year follow ups but decades (8 years for me.)

This male: 1. Identifies as a woman 2. Says he’s transgender 3. Says he’s female 4. Says he’s intersex 5. Is attempting to “pass” (feminine clothes, purse, long hair) Under the typical rubric of Trans Activism and self-ID laws, this male has every “right” to use female spaces

Gender ideology is full of internal contradictions. If you say trans women are males who identify as women, some will say that’s transphobic because they don’t “identify AS women” they ARE women. But then if you ask them what they mean by “woman” they’ll usually either state

It’s on my to-do list to make some YouTube videos about my old trans activist essays and explain what’s wrong with them. I am especially interested in debunking one called “Against the Sex/Gender Distinction” which ties into the girldick essay.
If a trans person tells you, “transition saved my life,” just remember, this is a cultural meme in the trans community. It’s a standardized script that becomes repeated so often people internalize it into their autobiographical narrative even if it’s not literally true.
This is going to get me in hot water with my feminist followers, but I think the typical feminist framing around abortion is disingenuous. When framed differently, the moral conflict of rights becomes apparent: Is it obvious women always have the autonomous right to kill their

Andrea Long Chu's piece in NY Mag reviewing Judith Butler's new book Who's Afraid of Gender? is radical and ethically unhinged. There are so many philosophically troubling things said it's hard to choose, but this stood out to me: "We must be prepared to defend the idea that, in

Whenever I harp on the point that sex change for mammals is impossible, some trans people inevitably chime in to say, “Nobody is claiming trans women are literally female, just that they have a preponderance of female characteristics from HRT.” But some influential trans

The point is that the entire framing of “life saving healthcare” is fundamentally based on emotional manipulation tactic typical in abuse cases. We don’t treat any other mental health condition like this. If a BPD patient demands X or else they’ll kill themselves, we wouldn’t

One of the things detransition has given me perspective on is how utterly toxic and destructive it is to assume that if your family doesn’t *immediately* acquiesce to your demands for a new name and pronouns that they must be transphobic bigots who don’t love you. I am ashamed of

When I talk about “gender ideology,” this is what I mean. It’s a New Religious Movement (i.e. cult). This is spiritual language for a secular society; promising a new life of transcendent purpose and meaning from an internal, immaterial spiritual knowing of one’s true gendered

This person’s “coming out” as “agender” has a similar feel to a religious conversion experience or cult initiation but instead of the ritual being done in person it’s carefully performed for a decentralized social media algorithm that provides instant validation and lovebombing.
I for one am glad to know my President and VP know what autogynephilia is so we can finally wake up this country to one of the biggest psyops of all time gaslighting this country that male gender dysphoria is caused by having lady brains instead of the TRUTH: paraphilic sexuality

Sex stereotype nonconforming people have always existed but nobody denies that. What’s under contention is the decidedly modern *conception* of sex stereotype nonconforming people as having innate, immutable, inner “gender identities” along with their transhumanist medicalization

Jack Turban is one of the leading intellectuals of the trans activist movement and he said the central concept of transgenderism is a "transcendent, ineffable feeling" called "gender identity." This is modern mysticism. It is essentially spiritual language. Why? Because

Trans activists say the social dysfunction of being trans is not inherent in the condition but due to societal “transphobia.” I disagree. The dysfunction is primarily inherent to trying to pass yourself off the opposite sex and the resultant anxiety that arises when you fail.
Imagine reading a report specifically about CHILDREN’S medicine and then in defense of such medical protocols writing about how you are “aroused” when people “take control of their own bodies.” Pediatric transition is often just fuel for AGP’s disgruntled fantasy life.
