There is one big difference between being the target of trans activists’ ire and being the target of gender-critical feminists’ ire: The latter will not try to get you fired from your job or otherwise deprive you of your livelihood.
I don’t know if this distinction arises from doctrinal differences, or from the fact that trans activists are mostly biological males, whereas gender-critical feminists are mostly females. It is possible that biological males simply have more of the killer instinct than biological females.
