72 Seasons
Every day, little by little, the presence of the north wind is felt more, as it blows the dry leaves from the branches of trees. The sight of a cold and dried-out landscape that suddenly appears when the wind dies down allows for discovery of beauty in the incomplete. This sensitivity is a special part of Japanese aesthetics. It's a season for feeling gratitude to the ancient tea masters who sublimated withered and cold things into the world of "wabi" and "sabi".
