I don't see anyone commenting on the incredible choir that The Minute Hour made, only consisting of himself.

To this day we’re still uncertain if absorbing the devil’s soul was his end goal or a major fuck up

Headbutting the demon from behind was truly a remarkable demonstration of "Working smarter, not harder" and "Using your head"

A perfect monomyth! 1. The hero lives in comfort. His boys support him and he has plenty of heads to bop. 2. The hero is challenged. The comfortable world is starting to fall out of equilibrium, but the hero doesn't change, he perseveres. 3. The hero is forced to confront an unthinkable challenge. 4. The hero's darkest hour. The narrative lingers to give the audience a feeling of suspense and dread. 5. Catharsis! The hero triumphs in a satisfying way. None of the rules of the narrative are broken. 6. We see the tragic cost of victory. The hero will never be the same.

I never imagined that I would see this man again. Waking up at 3am has it's perks.

I like that Drue's interpretation of this song was a bop baptism, where the bop priest progressively faces harder and harder people to bop baptize. Beautiful symbolism

I love how this is a direct continuation of "Something terribly offensive" The people in the bank actually witnessed this guy head-bop that man into literal oblivion and formed a cult around him. He cleanses the world of evil through his headbops.

The choir for this is amazing

This demon took 3 head bops to take down, the same amount of bops it took the guy at the bank who said something horribly offensive. That's because this scene depicts the protagonist struggling with his past demons and it's just not fair, he made it rotten for all of us.

We need to give Drue at least the budget of Smiling Friends, please.

It must be a testament to this animation that it made me physically wince after seeing those bops.

It seems to me like when the demon smacks the guy around, it's not a taunt. It's encouragement. He knows what he's been summoned for, and judging by his jaunty shuffle into the water, he's enjoying the whole thing. But the Baptist is feeling lightheaded, and his eyes are starting to drift after so many bops. So the demon smacks some sense back into him, as if saying "This is the moment you've been working towards, get your head in the game, boy!"

The rotoscoping is absolutely amazing. Definitely a 70s and 80s kind of vibe.

That idle animation as the demon approaches is mint. I dig Drue’s credit animation at the end, too.

Never would've imagined in my live I'd see a sequel to a character, and what a glorious development he's had! From bopping rude people on the head to bopping for the lord

Did Drue interpret “So I was standing in line at the bank,” to mean, “river bank?” If that were the case it would be just that much more canonically genius.
