Aurostice is a solid Ice-type Pokémon, if not a great one. She has a great Special Attack stat with usable Speed and decent Special Defense with a great movepool to take advantage of the high Special Attack. Only problems is that she's only resistant to one type (Ice) and doesn't have great Defense.
In Procyon and Deneb, Aurostice and her pre-evolutions are now Ice/Fairy types blessed with the rare Pixilate ability, replacing Inner Focus. Her only downsides are that she is exclusive to Deneb (so you would have to trade through VBA Link or hack her if you are playing Procyon) and as of the current demo, Aurostice is unable to learn any special Normal-type moves to go with Pixilate. However, there is a high possibility that she will learn one via a future TM or move tutor (Hyper Voice) once the game fully releases with said tutor and full TM roster.
Be sure to give Frozaiden an Everstone until she reaches level 35, as Aurostice cannot learn Ice Beam through any other legitimate method. Also, for those who play Vega Minus Fairy type edition, Aurostice will learn Moonblast at Level 51.
Like her pre-evolved forms, Aurostice seems to be directly based on a yuki-onna, a yōkai from Japanese folklore. She might also be inspired by Froslass (another yuki-onna inspired Pokémon) and the Ralts line, particularly Gardevoir, evolution-line wise, stats and diverse movepools.
Name Origin[]
Frolia is a play on the English word frost (Japanese transliteration: フロスト, furosuto).
Aurostice is a portmanteau of aurora, frost and ice.

this is just ice Gardevoir
If Froslass and Gardevoir had a child
Aurostice Ability: Clear Body Item: Life Orb Moves: Frostbite Psychic Hydropump Nasty Plot
Or focus blast
Another Gardeclone? I thought Selody was the Gardeclone.
I would compare Selody to either Lopunny or Lurantis, honestly.
I'd compare Selody to Syrentide, another mermaid/siren pokemon from Pokemon Uranium.
Aurostice does learn Ice Beam... only as a Maidawn at Lv. 35. So you have to wait five levels before evolving her. (Goes with Vega's common trend of evolution cancelling, since many 'Mons learn incredible moves that their final stages cannot learn by level-up.)
In Procyon and Deneb, Aurostice will be able to learn Ice Beam at Lv. 32.
HA! GOT'EM!
It's essentially an Ice-type Gardevoir. Pretty good offensively, but weighed down by a pretty awful defensive typing and a lack of Ice Beam and reliable coverage moves.
Strongly disagree with this. Aurostice is noy really weighed down thanks to her high Sp. Attsck and Speed. She may not have as many coverage as other 'mons., but she has all she needs. For starters, the combination of Focus Blast and Shadow Ball/Bug Noise with stab Ice cannot be ignored. Nothimg resists that covrrage. Add in the Fairy patch, Aurostice is able to hit nearly every single mon in this game for super effective damage. Definitely, one of the best fakemon in this game.
Apologies on the errors, typed too quick on my phone.
Aurostrice isn't really bad. She has great Special Attack and Speed with good moves that give her coverage (Focus Blast for Rocks and Steels, Aqua Bolt for Fire and Rock, Energy Ball for Water) and being strong against Dragons is great, considering how powerful they are. She's even better in Fairy Edition thanks to getting an immunity to Dragon and losing the Fighting type weakness while getting great Fairy moves.
Only downside, besides typing and defenses, is that any Steel type will kill her good in the Fairy patch. Other than that, Aurostrice is one of the best Ice types.
no ice beam? the more i look at this wiki the more dissapointed i get with this game.
As Frozaiden she can learn it
It's like a hybrid of Frosslass and Gardevoir.
It's shiny sprite is the color of Gardevoir's normal sprite, whereas it's normal sprite is the color of Gardevoir's shiny sprite~
base stats?
only the best
