MEALS

Students will receive an additional stipend to be used on campus during Thanksgiving Break (Fall), Spring Break (Spring), and the week prior to courses starting when students' meal plans are not available.

*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break.

San Jose State University requires all non-native English speakers to submit English assessments such as IELTS or TOEFL.

The following fields of study are closed to ISEP participants: nursing, animation, some art and design courses (especially digital media art), advanced computer graphics.

Graduate courses are not available to ISEP participants. 

Please note that exchange students holding U.S. citizenship are not eligible to study at this institution.

San Jose State University is willing to accept Duolingo English test as an alternative to other English assessments such as TOEFL and IELTS. 

PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
